Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)
Bring your heroes to the highest point!
"Zack Snyder's Justice League" humiliates the 2017 film in every way, both in the plot, in the characters, in the visual effects, and especially in the tone. It gives more space to all the characters, letting each one have their own reason for fighting and those not presented have their moment so that the viewer feels something for these characters, Steppenwolf is extremely well inserted in the story, even if Darkseid appears little, he exists . The 4: 3 format, violence and a heavier language help the film to get closer to whoever is watching. But not everything here is good, Snyder puts long shots, a giant excess of slow motion that gets tired with 40 minutes. A film consistent and coherent with itself and its predecessors, the Snyder Cut is an excellent view of the main DC superheroes, as it brings the true idea of what a hero or a God would be!
Ma Rainey's Black Bottom (2020)
Chadwick Boseman says goodbye with glory!
Netflix's "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" is a show of music and performances, bringing Viola Davis into yet another great performance, even though spending most of her time in a room the film manages to get the most out of its actors, Chadwick Boseman who unfortunately left us, acts like never in his career and has chances to go to the Oscars. "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" gets right to the point and brings a great narrative and is among the best of 2020.
The Mandalorian (2019)
The Mandalorian - Season 2 REVIEW
Disney finally got it right with Star Wars !! The first season was incredible, but the second was almost perfect! The first episodes are very good but something is missing, episodes 4 and 5 have more side missions than a main Mando mission.
The episode "The Rescue" last of the season is certainly the best of the series, a beginning with a lot of action, short battle of Mando against Moff Gideon but epic, the LUKE appears and takes the child for training, making the true fans of Star Wars become very emotional with the return of Mark Hamill.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales (2020)
Starting the new generation in style!
Spider-Man: Miles Morales original game from PlayStation 4 and 5, the new generation of consoles starts with a lot of style and quality, Miles shines in the game, the performance is incredible, so we want the quality of the games of this new generation. The end of the game is exciting and incredible, I am waiting for the continuation (THERE ARE POST-CREDIT SCENES)
Enola Holmes (2020)
Light and interesting, but...
It took me a while to post the comment, so there will be light spoilers! "Enola Holmes" You can connect quickly with those watching, but not everything is flowers. Because the film takes place in the Sherlock Holmes universe, I imagine that most people thought it would have a great mystery, but a lot in the film is discovered just by inverting a name. "Enola Holmes" was the target of heavy criticism for being a feminist, what is the problem with that? I'm a man and I didn't bother (it must be a prejudiced conversation).
The Devil All the Time (2020)
"The Devil All The Time" managed to impress me a lot!
The story told in "The Devil All The Time" is based on religion and sins and with a wonderful touch of suspense making it a very good movie !! Tom Holland shines with his best performance to date, Robert Pattison makes a character where it is good to hate him. I don't think the film is dragged but rather long and tells its story in a wonderful way!
Mulan (2020)
Mulan is Disney's best Live-Action!
Mulan is a beautiful film, wonderful action scenes, and wins by not having a soundtrack sung by the characters as in "The Lion King" of 2019. I don't understand the hatred of some about this film which is one of the best of 2020.
The Umbrella Academy (2019)
The first season is very good, but the 2nd season...
The 2nd season of "The Umbrella Academy" is very epic at all times. The ending is incredible, the events that should bring a third season were extremely well done by the team behind the series. Now it's time to sit and breathe after the season and wait for the next one!
Cursed (2020)
Cursed is medium...
The new Netflix series "Cursed" is very average and has a slow start, but to top is off, the last 4 episodes are quite good. Like all series it does have problems, good characters exist, but a large part of badly developed characters. I think Netflix can bring a 2nd season. Cursed is a medium series, cool to watch but has a lot to improve. FINAL NOTE: 7
