I am surprised to see that a lot has liked this episode.
I've checked the comments and someone has summarized my thoughts completely. But, just to assert: Are we supposed to believe or assume that Technology is so advanced that you can pickup memories and/or sentience from DNA? DNA is for genetic makeup and not memory.
Are we supposed to root for characters who are a**holes to Daly in real life? I mean seriously, even the intern was treating Daly like he's a nobody in the office. Whatever he's doing to those digital "clones", it does not impact their human counterparts, in any way. At best, this was just creepy, nothing beyond that.
Though I would say, it's a nice effort for the writers but as far as storytelling ability goes, this can be improved to make the story miles stronger.
