Mr. Harrigan's Phone (2022)
This is Not HORROR...
This movie was not awful but the trailer and categorizing this under horror was terribly misleading, I feel like drama or mild mystery would have suited it better.
I personally would have not watched this. I sat through this entire thing thinking there was going to be some chilling end that would leave me restless during the night or at least a jump scare somewhere in it. Now, my sister on the other hand loved it so really it is all personal taste.
The relationship between Craig and Mr. Harrigan was believable and sweet. The teacher Miss. Hart was an angel. Other than that this movie was a waste of time and basically a long iphone commercial.
After Ever Happy (2022)
I wanted this to be the last...
Okay, so the books were extremely toxic but it was a guilty pleasure for me since it was just a book. The break-up, make-up situation is pretty much what happened in the books too so I can't really complain. I knew what I was getting into.
The two playing Hardin & Tessa are both beautiful people but what bothers me is the acting and chemistry between them. In the books I felt the emotions between Hardin & Tessa despite the awful relationship they had. Here, they lack the chemistry. It's the fourth movie, I expected either better acting from both or at least some sort of attraction between them. They go through the movie seeming as if they are forced to be there and act out the scenes.
The most emotional part for me was when Tessa found her dad & the few scenes after, the actress managed to act out the grief perfectly.

A Good Watch!
I kind of wish Im Siwan had more screen time since he was a pleasure to watch. For me he was probably the highlight of this movie. This was a good disaster movie, it been in a plane added to the excitement. There is a VERY good cast line up in here as well. This movie definitely showed how people react and their divided opinions when it comes to disasters. There is a lot that went on with some of the passengers wanting to seclude the sick, protestors, the foreign countries not wanting to assist and the cop intentionally making himself sick to show whether the cure was effective or not. I think the only downside was the motive of the bad guy not been fully explained or was he just a crazy, angry scientist who hated the world? A movie that kept me entertained and wanting to know whether they make it or not.
Death on the Nile (2022)
No Mystery... Just lots of CGI shots of Egypt
Maybe I am being biased since the Orient Express had Johnny Depp in it.
It was so obvious to tell who the killers were from the very beginning. There was really no valid reason behind the murder/ murders (although in reality most times murders are not valid). The one character that I actually liked in here gets shot in the neck. I found that so unnecessary!
The mystery was non-existent and the characters were boring to me. Such a pity because I love these kind of murder mystery movies. The comedy movie 'Murder Mystery' with Jennifer Anniston and Adam Sandler was more enjoyable and had more mystery in it than this.

Watched it since it popped up as a recommendation...
It is my first time watching Kim Soo Hyun (he reminds me a lot of Apo from the KinnPorsche show), I am very impressed with his acting. You could easily tell the characters he played apart by their mannerisms. I understand the story and it is definitely unique but I just wish it would've focused more on the story/plot and less on the mimicking process. It was pretty obvious what the one guy was doing half way through the movie, I feel like the actual story should've started coming together by then. The movie was over 2hrs, I think there was enough time to explain everything "behind IT" but instead the ending was rushed. I have many questions, especially how, who and why?...
The visuals were very nice. Sulli was very pretty. The actors were good, just a very poorly put together story/plot.

Enjoyed it!
Lee Je-hoon was awesome as usual! He took on multiple characters while undercover on cases; he was so much fun to watch. Everyone's acting was very convincing as well, I felt complete hatred for the bad guys. The good guys were all very likable, although at times the female prosecutor came off as overbearing.
Of course it isn't realistic, some things left me smiling and thinking if only things worked like that in the real world. The show is very addicting, from the first episode it grabs your attention. The cases/ crimes involved were very interesting to me, and the action was great! However, I do feel that some episodes were longer than they needed to be.
Overall I personally enjoyed it!
Myeong-ryang (2014)
Loved it!
I really loved the visuals, the ships and costumes. I was so sad when the husband sacrificed himself and his wife had to watch and flag everyone down. The most pleasing part is when that good-looking sharp shooter guy attempts to take his aim...... This is based on true events from what I have read, glad the story was brought to our screens!
Prey (2022)
Just a teenager wanting to prove herself for no reason...
Naru, the main character is annoying. She wants to prove to everyone that she can be a hunter when no one even asked her to. Tries to compete with her brother, she can't even congratulate him when he becomes the war chief. Numerous warrior tribe guys die, numerous bad gun men die. But the survivor is a teenage girl who's never managed to kill anything before... In the end she relishes in her victory when in all honesty she should be grief stricken after all the deaths she caused for no reason...
Really loved the setting and killings. The visual effects are very pleasing and realistic.
Manyeo: Part 2. The Other One (2022)
Honestly, I'm confused?
There were so many unnecessary characters, every girl looked the same to me, no one was properly introduced, there was no explanation as to why they were in the movie. The first movie had a reason and a story behind it. This? I don't even know what I have just watched for almost 2 and a half hours? I think if you haven't watched part 1, you will probably enjoy this one.
The only thing enjoyable for me was the blood, gore and killings.
The Twin (2022)
Stretched out
It was a nice story, I love the twist in the end. I just feel it was a little too long, and for most I am sure too slow. I also feel in reality, the final scene specifically would not be possible at all. She wouldn't be 'free' or allowed to drive for that matter.
Semantic Error (2022)
First BL
My first BL, I honestly loved it. The cast firstly is beautiful, I'm honestly shocked at the kiss scenes (they showed emotion and looked real) & how both main leads are actually Kpop singers. I love that nothing seemed forced; but natural and sweet. Both actors were so comfortable with one another, this definitely showed and it made the series so much better. I liked how neither characters were initially queer/ gay, they kind of found their true selves through each other. They're allowed to slowly fall in love in a safe environment without any restrictions or negative opinions from others.
KinnPorsche the Series La 'forte (2022)
Gorgeous!
4 episodes down so far. I wish it wasn't only one episode per week... It truly is living up to the hype. Such a gorgeous cast, setting & from the looks of it story too!
Edit: Finally finished, I feel sad because I'll miss this cast together, I really do hope they make another season. This series is really worth it!
Ambulance (2022)
Everything was blamed on Danny
The only thing that made this movie watchable was Jake Gyllenhaal (Danny).
Throughout the movie Danny had Will's (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II)(his brother) back.
The only thing Will did was try to turn on Danny at any given chance, in the end he successfully back stabs him, literally.
Guimoon (2021)
Dark, Loud, Shaman guy wandering in a building
It was a waste of time honestly. It was dark, loud and I understood nothing. It felt like this shaman guy was wandering around the place the entire movie. There was no conclusion to the story. Didn't explain how there were two dimensions. The ghosts were never trying to leave the building so I don't see why the shaman guy put that spell (is it a spell?) on the door so no ghosts would past. I don't even know why the shaman guy went there in the first place? Was he trying to free his mother's soul? It didn't even show him accomplishing that. I also don't understand how the 3 college students, although ghosts did not appear to look white and pale like the others, instead they looked human.
It seems there won't ever be another good horror movie because everything has already been done or the stories just kind of fall apart.
There wasn't anything likeable about this movie, I guess I gave it a 3 because I like the shaman guy (Kim Kang-Woo) in his other movies.
I guess you could watch this if you want to support the actors.
The Silent Sea (2021)
Disappointment
Such a great cast.
It definitely dragged out in the beginning. Has an interesting story once it begins to get on with it. So many dead and no answers ever answered. What was the point of this. What is the point of these shows that are made up of endless seasons?
This felt like a drama where nothing was resolved.
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021)
10 zombies?
1 zombie dog, 1 zombie crow, 1 brain mutant monster, a crazy doctor (Neal McDonough) who jabs himself and about 10 zombie looking people that reappear because they might have been taking on different zombie roles, no other living people besides the waitress with a leaking eye. Leon (Avan Jogia), my gosh, what did they do with you, portrayed as an utter loser who can't use a gun, even as a trainee didn't you go for training? Chris (Robbie Amell) why were you swearing so much, really couldn't take you seriously, it seemed like you were about to burst out laughing at any moment? Claire (Kaya Scodelario) seemed the most true to character probably because she was played by a good actress but honestly all she had was one emotion throughout the movie, everyone else was so forgettable but what can someone expect when most of the actors act in comedies. What a waste. Can we ask for another Anderson & Milla edition? Or just stick to the animation version because those are gold!
The Alienist (2018)
Why?
I really do love this show, it is dark, set in the past, the costumes, everything about it is worth loving. I do have an issue though, why did Marcus have to die such a pointless death? I felt the same way in season 1 when Laszlo's love interest died. Another WHY; Why is Laszlo now taking the back seat in season 2, everything being about Sara and Moore being such a pushover?
No Sudden Move (2021)
Besides watching this for the cast, this was a waste of time
What a beautiful setting, a great cast...camera could have been better since it gave me a headache (could have been the terrible story as well). Honestly though what was this about, the way everything came together and the reasoning for it really made no sense to me. Why did they do Benicio del Toro's character so dirty in the end?
I'll Take Your Dead (2018)
Could have been good but this stupid ending
Despite the mix of various elements, some action, mystery, the daughter been afraid of what I would call ghosts and the dead seemingly coming back to life, this movie was actually quite good in the beginning, I found the bodies that were being hacked up; in my opinion, they looked quite realistic. Even the dead that were either ghosts or zombie type things. The ending though, was stupid. The dad did what he had to do, to provide for his daughter and keep her safe. He never harmed anyone but simply helped dispose of the dead, in an ideal world this would be wrong, but it is not an ideal world, he gave them I would say a grave or resting place. He saved up so he could disappear with his daughter. Not once did he show that he was going to harm Jackie. When she called her boyfriend, did she not think it was strange that there was not even a missed call or message from her boyfriend who now knew she was missing or 'dead'. The dad dying and Jackie and his daughter driving off to a better world was rubbish, I don't think Jackie deserved to have what the dad worked for his entire life. Another thing that was rubbish is when the dad is seen with the dead who were bad and actually threatened his daughter and killed him. No I did not like that, you do not put a man who was murdered with his murderers and expect us to believe they are now one big happy family in the afterlife.
Diba (2020)
Confused
I love Shin Min-a! She is one of my favourite Korean actresses. I was really ready to see this movie, the trailer looked good and it seemed like a mystery or thriller. The thing is though, I do not get most of the movie. Are we suppose to sympathize with the lead or hate her? Throughout the movie there are many flashbacks and thoughts that go through the lead's head that at times you are not sure if it is real or just another thought. The ending is what confuses me the most, like I said, must we feel sympathy for the lead or hate her? Should we feel bad because she intentionally pushed her friend down since she could not carry her back up to the surface and then regretted it or should we hate her because the goodness she portrayed was always for everyone to witness, when it came to actually proving she was a good person to her friend she always did something that benefited her and negatively affected her friend.
Aknyeo (2017)
Good action, Bloody......Bad script.
Such good action ruined by a predictable story. It was so obvious that her mentor/ husband was her father's killer. There were gaps, scenes that did not have to be there. You could tell that her agent husband genuinely cared for her daughter, genuinely loved her. Why was she ordered to kill her presumed dead ex husband on her wedding day. Any other assassin could have done the job, she did not have to know about it. The female Chief screwed her over doing that. Why did she initially choose to take the man (mentor/ husband and father's killer) part, he pretended to be dead and disappeared. The end was a mess up, why did her beautiful daughter and agent husband need to die? In the end when she avenges them and goes to kill the mentor/ husband/ dad killer. She still wants to ask, did you ever love me. Wtf? He killed your child and a man who loved you. Just kill him. He still mocks her for being shaky and afraid to kill him. You hear her laughing in the end as if she has had a mental breakdown. Where was there justice in this movie for anyone? The only likeable characters in this was her little daughter and agent husband who selflessly loved her.

Ending credits leave you with questions...
Such a unique story, wonderful acting, so many twists that you are kept guessing till the end. CGI was pretty nice as well.
If you want a happy ending, DO NOT watch those end credits...
Sin-ui hansu (2014)
The ending though...
Action was awesome, fight scenes, the blood, the gore, amazing! The Blind master, he was the highlight of this movie honestly. But come on, you are avenging your brother's death. You meet his son, your nephew who is now an orphan and living in poverty. You choose the girl who helped the killer win the GO games against your brother and the Blind master, resulting in their deaths.
Don't you think a father figure would have being nicer for your nephew besides some cash and a new phone? :)
Contratiempo (2016)
Gorgeous, a must watch!!!
This movie was absolutely... ahhhh man it was perfect! Gosh, I was so saddened for the guy as he made it seem he didn't want to do 'any' of it (don't like what he did to his wife and child though) I wanted to kill the girl for being so awful, little did I know :D... I love how everything was only figured out at the very last minute. This is definitely worth your time!
Taineun Jiokida (2019)
A show that got me really thinking
I really loved the grim reaper from Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (Goblin) aka Lee Dong-wook so much so that I had to watch his Touch Your Heart and now this. This was a completely different role that he took on and I loved it. It was dark, his character reminded me a lot of Mads Mikkelsen's Hannibal Lector. A beautiful man with a dark soul. Yoon Jong-woo (Im Siwan) just needed someone to listen to him, to believe him, to understand his feelings. We see a 27 year old man go from being excited and happy about his new internship, moving away from home and closer to his girlfriend to a man that doesn't seem stable enough to be in society. If some of the characters just heard him out, would they be able to save him? I found myself being reminded of some of the bullying that is experienced in the adult working world. It's scary what the real world is actually like.
