Unlike MANY of the shows that Genndy Tartakovsky had some part in this unicorn: warriors eternal, is taking longer for me to warm up to, i am only on episode 4, but so far i am NOT very impressed, i am willing to give it more time and am hoping it will get better.
The steam punk theme is interesting and i must admit intriguing but the main characters are a bit flat and the advertisements that came out introducing the show gave away the villain.
The art is good a lot like samurai jack and the back ground characters are some times more interesting than the main characters, the back ground characters supply SOME humor and color all the while being placed in danger to supply the suspense, what little there is of it.

The actors had all the chemistry of a wet paper towel, they just seemed to go through the motions, it was so full of cgi effects that it was too obvious, it would have be cheaper and better if they had just done it fully animated, that way, even with fully CGI, the real life actors wouldn't stand out so, it was like they shot the actors on a green scene sound stage ant just threw the cgi animation in over them, I was actually bored, I thought I would sit through to see the ending, and I did. that is about the best I can say for it.
this movie is reminiscent of an old American cartoon called the littles. this movie is slow at the start, set in the united states, when it should have ben set in the English country side, all in all the best I can give it is, it's nice, nothing spectacular but nice, worth a watch at least once.
