After initially watching the overly long drawn out dream sequences by Tony Soprano, which takes up 40 percent of the entire episode. It has very little to no re-watch value in my opinion.
Whenever I'm in the mood to re-watch the series, I skip over the entire dream sequence, which feels more like filler than anything else.
The scenes before and after the Tony's wildly self-indulgent dreams are well done and excellently performed by the cast. But unfortunately its not enough to save the episode from being highly overrated thanks in large part to the main focus of the episode being Tony's wacky dream (hence the title of the episode).
Just about every great TV/streaming series has its hits and misses, this episode was definitely a miss in my estimation. But to each their own....

The positive reviews of this drek are most likely from people who worked on the show, or from people who are so easily entertained, that they have zero standards and will watch almost anything.
And they love to label those who dislike what they watch as "haters"..... as if I have something personal against a reality competition game show.
I'm just someone who has standards, and my honest opinion is Squid Game: The Challenge is bottom of the barrel. It lacks depth, most (if not all) of the contestants are either uninteresting or just unlikeable.
The production reeks of a cheap cash grab attempt at capitalizing on the popularity of the Squid Game series.
It tries to be compelling but just ends up being cringe worthy.
If you value how you spend your free time, then I suggest you skip this lame show.

Let's see.....Where to begin.
1) The host is LAME, he has the charisma of a comatose patient.
2) The team format is stupid, feels like the show can't decide if it wants to be Jeopardy or Family Feud. And just like Family Feud, most of the contestants are unlikeable. So it's difficult to root for anyone.
3) Most of the trivia (and the overall feel of the show) is catered to a Gen Z audience. I could easily see this version of Jeopardy being added to the already horrendous programming on MTV or E!
To put it simply. After suffering through five episodes, I had enough. As a big fan of trivia, I'd rather play Trivial Pursuit by myself, than sit through another episode of this drek.
Put that in your Daily Double.
