Masters of the Universe: Revelation (2021)
Basically, it's the equivalent of the Last Jedi.
I don't know why people are so surprised that Kevin Smith let them down. He's been a sell-out since the beginning. His puffed-up ego has been ever-present in all of his works, podcasts, and twitter page.
I remember him mentioning that he hated Masters of the Universe and He-man on comic book men.

The explorer from another world has arrived and he is here to stay...
I am a huge fan of movies like this, so i was excited to see what they did with this tribute, so the movie starts very well with the team of mercenaries set to go on a rescue mission, but then the creature starts killing them one by one, and that´s when the gore starts to appear,
As for character development, it goes without saying that it's remarkably sparse but effective.
The acting is well all around, considering that this is not a very dramatically demanding story for anybody.
The script is precise, it doesn't force the cast to act stupid, or insults the intelligence of the audience; another reason why it works!
The creature is amazing and would make Stan Winston proud to see that they did a real tribute to his original creature.
Rui Constantino delivered an absolute gem with this one. The pacing is superb.
A great film, one of a kind.
