The problem with this movie, in my opinion, is that it would have worked better as a stage show than as an on screen film. The small cast, imaginative plot, and creative blocking would make for a fantastic production as a play.
Having said that, not every movie has to be the most original, and unique tale ever told in order for it to be worthwhile. This entertaining movie has a superb ensemble and a simple, but creative plot. (It was particularly fun to see Susan Sarandon and Richard Gere back on screen again).
Overall, I wouldn't rush out to watch it, but it's worth streaming on some afternoon if you're looking for something fun.

This movie has an all star cast and some feel good moments, but ultimately leaves much to be desired.
It feels very similar to "Our Idiot Brother" which came out a few years before, but with less satisfying punches.

This show is oddly comforting. It's definitely a not-so-dramatic caricature of living through our your 20's and 30's in today's era. Perhaps watching it during a particularly chaotic period in my life, made me feel even more connected, but I think most young people could see themselves in this.
This was essentially a mini-series. Similar to some millennial girlfriends shows, but definitely more real. It's great television, fun introduction into some Irish slang, and easy watching after a rough day. Seana Kerslake and the late Nika McGuigan were a delight.
If you enjoyed Dollface, Incredible Jessica James, Someone Great, etc. you might really enjoy this as well.
