This is a Disney musical with a bit of "hunger games" plot thrown in here and there. No connect with the character throughout the movie. She just appears to be at the right place at the right moment. Snow is the main character in this movie but we are forced to listen to Lucy sing 10 songs about her life. This should have been more focused on Snow's character. He does end up being the bad guy but a very mild version of it. The movie doesn't carry the essence of the book at all. Snow's character building was the gold mine but the makers chose to focus on Lucy for some reason. Also the runtime is massive. At least the Disney movies are shorter.

The plot just doesn't make sense and becomes a drag after 3-4 episodes. At that point you only watch it to finish the damn thing. They have tried hard no doubt, great production value but the story itself is just a sob.

The main leads do a good job but they can only do so much. Many times you would feel that it's about to get good and then comes the bro-sis combo to ruin everything. The deal with the devil taken too far. No one needed this to be a 8 episode long series. You could tell the story in a 2 hour movie.

You don't feel connected to even one character. It's not even scary.. just gore ... oh what a bore!!!

Flaws

• Casting: the daughter is 6ft tall with cheekbones like Indi but her parents are short & chubby.

• Plot: the story can be summed up in one line. It hardly makes sense.

• Disney Cash Cow: another one from Disney where they try to use nostalgia to fool the audience.

HARD PASS

Consider making a spin-off romantic drama movie where we see why Indi's god daughter ended up looking like his clone. That might be interesting.

There is a scene where a teenager flies a fighter place into the eye of a storm. He literally said he hasn't flown a plane ever in his life. Make sense of that. Overall this a madness & should never have been made in the first place.
