First of all, wow. Probably one of the best "Batle episode" I have ever seen from a tv show. An episode of 50 minutes felt less than 30 minutes.
The twist with Viktor and Jayce, wow. Impeccable and brilliant. The music, the animation, always at top. Always stand out, always stays with you. Never got to experience a show like Arcane, ever. It's just built different. But I would pick S1 over S2. S1 was peak of tv debut seasons. It's untouchable. That doesn't mean S2 isn't. This show is peak. And I can't say it enough. The ending scene with Powder could've been avoided but they've gone for that take.
And I didn't watch the show with my eye closed, it was clear that certain scenes were rushed. And i'd be more pissed if people didn't acknowledge that fact. Particularly, S2 was had breakneck pacing, in some episodes, but not every one. But that doesn't affect the story much, it just affects the drama. And I'm fine with their being less drama. If you look at it, the rushed scenes weren't really rushed, it was just that certain characters never really got to say more with each other.
