This is a beautifully filmed homage to old Hollywood films. Visually stunning and exquisitely filmed, however, it was a very long movie almost bereft of a plot. It all came together in the end but it was 2 hours and 42 minutes where all the action takes place in the last 20 minutes. Terantino definitely pays homage to Hitchcock with his colorful street shots and background sounds. The sets were beautifully constructed and you definitely felt the atmosphere involved in making movies and tv shows. I liked this, don't get me wrong but it needed more of a plot and could have been about an hour shorter.
Lots of talent here but sorry, this one missed the mark. The story plods along and is very slow. It's about finding a mole in the Vienna office of a U. S. intelligence office. I'm not sure why this doesn't work but it just doesn't. The characters are quite shallow and the plot is very thin. I guesses wh the villain was about halfway through but I just didn't care about the characters and the story was a stretch. It was not a good spy thriller.
We started binge watching in September 2020 starting from season 1 and we're mesmerized. It was so interesting to see the evolution of the 2016 election and compare it to the 2020 election. It was great to watch it that way.
