Carry On follows Ethan Kopek (Taron Egerton) who works as a TSA officer at the airport. What should be just a normal day on the job rapidly changes as he is contacted by a criminal group who force him to obey and help them carry out their nefarious plans. The movie follows him as he wrestles with his conscience while trying to keep his pregnant girlfriend Nora (Sofia Carson) alive while also trying to alert someone as to what is happening.
The story is pretty interesting and definitely get's pretty active and fun from the middle to the end of the movie. The start is a bit slow but it's okay as it's setting the scene and filling the audience in on what is what. It also has some nice little twists throughout that keep things interesting.
The cast is probably the best part with Taron Egerton doing a good job as our leading man. The absolutely stunning Sofia Carson plays his beautiful girlfriend Nora but unfortunately doesn't really get much dialogue or time to show off her personality or character. We also have Jason Bateman playing the villain which is definitely different from his usual roles and I for once really enjoyed his performance.
The audio and visuals are good, nothing really out of this world is needed considering the type of movie but lack of explosions on screen. Still a good job though I did notice some goofs in the film.
Overall a solid, deserved 7/10 from me. If you can get through the first half you'll definitely enjoy the rest. Story is solid, cast is awesome and audio/visuals are good.

This was a nice installment in the series, with some amazing action scenes, a really enjoyable storyline and our old but gold action heroes!
The story is actually really nice, it could have been a bit better maybe but the movie is homage to the rest and just another chance to see your favorite pair of cops on the big screen! So I won't judge it to harshly plus I liked getting to see Reggie back in action as well as Mikes son Armando. Add in Dorn and Kelly being an absolutely bad ass couple and you got quite a film with action, romance and humour to spare. Again as I said before, homage to the rest of the movies! Plus I have to admit Marcus was hilarious throughout the film with his I can't die I've had an out of body experience vibe/thing.
The cast is stellar, We have Will Smith and Martin Lawrence back as Mike and Marcus and the gorgeous Paola Núñez as Captain Rita. Jacob Scipio and Dennis Greene reprise their roles as Armando and Reggie and both have awesome fight scenes and moments of just greatness! We also have the absolutely stunning Vanessa Hudgens being an absolute bad ass and Alexander Ludwig (Cato anyone?) as Kelly and Dorn. Just a lovely cast and brilliant performances by everyone.
The VFX and SFX are great. We have awesome soundtracks combined with big explosions and just the usual great Bad Boys vibe and style.
Overall a solid 8/10 from me! I enjoyed the film and had a great time watching it so it deserves its rating. Solid story, great cast and lovely visuals and sound effects.

Trap follows the story of a man Cooper, who is a serial killer who the cops set a trap for at a concert. The movie follows Cooper as he tries to evade the cops without letting his family know what is going on. It's a pretty interesting story with some cool twists to it and even though some parts are a little dull and some of the dialogue, especially between the father and his daughter just sounds forced it's a interesting story overall and I enjoyed it a lot. The twists I mentioned earlier are some of the best parts with the killer being absolutely crazy but smart with the way he approaches and escapes situations.
The cast is pretty great with the directors daughter, the absolutely stunning Saleka Shyamalan playing the lead female character Lady Raven, the singer at the trapped concert. Josh Hartnett plays Cooper and does a absolutely stand up job portraying both family man and dad as well as serial killer and psychopath. The rest of the cast aka supporting cast did okay overall but definitely didn't have the presence the main 2 did. Though Coopers daughter Riley played by Ariel Donoghue did a lovely job.
The VFX and SFX are fine, nothing really crazy needed though the music that was sung at the concert all sounded great. So props to Saleka there for her singing performance alongside her acting!
Overall a well deserved 7/10 from me. Good story with nice twists and turns. A solid core cast and good music! Recommend watching if you like thrillers, especially lighter hearted ones.
