If you think about presidents in the way this film does, particularly Reagan, you have the mind of a child who worships their papa. "Oooooh I love my papa who can do no wrong!" That's what you sound like. Aside from the scope of the film being as waterlogged and braindead as it is, the acting is atrociously bad. Like so bad it feels unable to be parodied because it's a farce in and of itself. A truly embarassing way for Dennis Quaid to end his career but one that's certainly fitting for a raving conservative loon such as him. Every uncle that is banned from Thanksgiving for being too annoying is going to love this though.
This whole show ripped off ideas from a podcast called Your Kickstarter Sucks, specifically their segment cknown as "Real or Fake." In fact, the premise of this show is the exact same premise as Real or Fake, no differences. Even worse, it is much less funny than the podcast they ripped off. YKS has been doing this segment since at least 2017. It's way better than this show. If they had somehow involved the hosts of Your Kickstarter Sucks, Jesse Farrar and Mike Hale, then I would have no issues with this show. It might even make it somewhat enjoyable instead of being terribly unfunny inaddition to unorignal. Unoriginal and unfunny. That's a double whammy.
If you like comedy that isn't funny or that tries way too hard to be "deep," then this show if for you. Especially if you can relate to the problems of a whiny divorced white man living in Venice, CA. However, if you like comedy that is funny and engaging, this will disappoint.
