Vanessa, Jesse and Catherine are a hoot and make the first half of the movie a slap happy show! The second part of the movie includes Clarie and Daniel which is another type of humor including cynism and wit hits that ad another dimension to the humor in this rom com. The movie is a silly, funny, well-written and well-executed show that made me laugh and realize just how life can sometimes be. I found it to be well worth my time as it is free of trash adult humor. If you enjoy movies on Great American Family channel then you will enjoy this one! The sets and the costumes and make-up are top notch!

I enjoyed the movie. The storyline is complicated as there are several side stories which makes it hard to depict the main story. However, themes are clear: 1) do what is right in the eyes of the Lord; 2) people make bad choices and need redemption; 3) good triumphs over wrongdoing. The budget was small for this movie. However, it is filmed in a quaint and historic South Carolina town of Newberry, which is refreshing and homelike. The cast includes the beautiful Kelley S Williams of Family Matters fame and some fresh, young and upcoming talent! I appreciate smut free, violence free films. I think this is worth watching with children to discuss the themes and various stories to help them learn the difference between good and evil/right and wrong. Thank you Fisher Films! I hope this gets picked up by a strong streaming platform like Pure flix.

Dan and Erin create wonderful chemistry in no matter what they star in. This movie has a top-notch supporting cast as well. Ben, Chris, Kurt and Jess create their characters well and are fabulous in their respective roles. However, the story is dumb and too unrealistic for a Christmas movie. The "magic" and notes are fake. Nothing in this movie would actually happen in real life. The comedy is not funny, more like ridiculously dumb. The last 15 minutes (ending) is over the top terrible. My rating is for the cast as I like each of them as actors and actresses. Not a high quality Christmas romance. Do not waste your time. Hallmark needs to improve their stories to be about Christmas.
