Keys to the Heart (2023)
So many unclear things.
This movie tried so hard to incorporate various elements to make it seem like a "good" movie. First it focused on the mother which made it seem that the movie would be about her. Then coincidentally, her son was just working near her. I thought it would be about them reconnecting. Then the movie became about the boxer son. Then became about the boxer son and the mentally challenged brother connecting with each other. THEN it became about the mentally challenged brother as a talented pianist. With the cliche of a Filipino-drama where everything works out in the end. Disappointed but not new haha.
Mia (2020)
7.0? Who rated this movie??
So much irrelevant things in this movie. No direction. No life-lesson. No anything. Love story based on nothing. Too literal application of the chinese proverb that was mentioned by the protagonist. This is utterly disappointing. I regret watching it.
Jigeum uri hakgyoneun (2022)
What is it with these high ratings?
It's not even good, yet people rate higher than 1 star. Slow pacing, lots if unecessary dialogue, conflicts were forced, and mutations were so random. I love zombie movies, but this is just meh. Wasted my time. Skipped through every single episode just to get to the "good" parts.
There's Someone Inside Your House (2021)
The movie was ok, but what House? And useless plots.
What house were you talking about? I liked the first scene but the rest were only a little above tolerable. Makani's backstory didn't have to do anything with the film tho... It didn't matter with the last part imo. The masks were confusing for me. What was the point? And also the telling of secrets? What does the memorabilla collection have to do with plot as well? Oh so many useless details.
The Kissing Booth 3 (2021)
I EXPERIENCED PAIN FOR EVERY MINUTE I WATCHED IT
Every scene hurt my eyes and my soul. This "movie" didn't need to be made. I "liked" the 2nd movie, but THIS "BESTFRIEND CODE" IS SO STUPID. AND LIVING TOGETHER??? I assume they're around 17-19y.o in this movie bruh they don't even work yet HOW WOULD THEY AFFORD AN APARTMENT? THE SCENES SEEM MATURE AT SOME POINTS AND GOES BACK TO BEING A CRINGE FEST. I am sorry for my caps lock typing. I am purely in pain as I watched this movie.
I Care a Lot (2020)

What a disappointing movie. Tried hard to put a f-ton of women empowerment stuff. Useless judge. Unrealistic plot. ROMAN LUNYOV GOT PWNED EASILY. HE WAS A MAFIA BOSS FFS???! HE ONLY HAD TWO BOYS?? GOD. Wasted acting skills. The way they handled their "attempted murder" was not even clean. You all had us in the first half but you RUINED it in the last part. DONT EVEN BOTHER WATCHING IT. WHAT YOU SEE IN THE MEDIA IS JUST FOR IGNORANT WATCHERS.
Four Sisters Before the Wedding (2020)
Cringe-fest. Unrealistic plot. Try-hard comedy. Disappointing.
They tried to put in a lot of elements that were not needed. They tried so hard to be a funny movie witj the spy stuff. Teddie's lines were so cringe. If they had just sticked to normal talking without the use of "salitang balbal", it would've been a lot better. There are only select actors that played their characters well. The movie focused on many parts. If their parents are cheating, love affairs, sad bs moments, backstories about love, judgemental grandma, money problems, they also tried to put in a lgbt variety and more. This is just a disappointing movie overall.
Why are filipino movies always focused on romance, drama and family problems? Improve your movie plots directors.
