I have watched one episode so far and enjoyed it. The setting is beautiful and I liked the actors. I thought the plot was pretty good too, and I enjoyed the humor. This show reminds me of one of my favorites, Midsomer Murders!

I did watch this to the end, but it was kind of painful. The characters were not very believable or well fleshed out, and a lot of their actions made no sense. It was like someone took all the typical elements of a crime drama and tossed them together like a salad, without much care as to whether it all made sense.

Now that I finished watching it, I am disappointed by the ending and am regretting that 5 or so hours of my life I'll never get back.

In the credits it said this was based on an idea by Val McDermid. Too bad they didn't have her write the script.
