I'm only here to complain about the subtitles on Netflix. Throughout the entire film, the subtitles kept saying speaking in another language. For goodness sake, the title of the film has the word Italy in it, and it takes place in Tuscany. It's not a foreign language, it's the language of Italy, where this movie takes place. Just say speaking in Italian.
The rest of the film was OK, and it had slight hints of under the Tuscan Sun. I think the relationship should've been explored more, and the plot would've been improved if there was more development, showing the connection of the two men to the home.

I guess the title gives you some hint what this movie is about, but before seeing it, I could not imagine what that would entail. It isn't a premise I could have considered.
This movie was delightful. The characters were very real, from the protagonists, to the supporting characters, to the extras. When a lot of movies get it very wrong, It feels so authentically New York.
Immediately you fall in love with the main character, Rabbi Moshe Yehuda. There is just something so open hearted and gentle about his character. Within minutes you want to know more about him. He's such a likeable character and you want him to figure things out for his faith, his family and his fortune. It would be impossible to say a lot about this film without giving away the plot. I loved it. I laughed a lot too. Go see it, as soon as you have a chance.
