That's My Boy (2012)
Hilarious
I'm a big fan of the happy Madison comedies, but Adam Sandlers movies recently for me have had very little laughs in them, 'funny people' 'Jack and Jill' 'grown ups' for example. This one had me laughing all the way through, I'm not ashamed to admit I enjoy a daft Sandler comedy full of crude humour, it had a few nice cameos in there too, Vanilla ice and Willis from different stokes were good sports and fans of Adam Sandler/ Happy Madison movies will recognise a lot of the usual crew, I enjoyed this movie the same as I did when I watched Grandma's boy and Benchwarmers, I put this movie on par with those two so if you liked those two i'm sure you will enjoy this one.

Kill List (2011)
a potentially brilliant movie spoilt by its terrible ending
This movie after an hour was on course for being an awesome film but it was spoilt, the 3 main characters were excellent and were played brilliantly but for some reason the movie took a turn in mine an a lot of other people I have spoke to's opinion for the worse, when I say terrible ending, I use the word ending very lightly as it had no particular ending and leaves the viewer very much unfulfilled and confused, the director seems to have wanted to end it with a twist to maybe shock and wow the audience but it does neither, in the end it was too obvious and a pretty much a pathetic attempt. I am so disappointed with the ending as I absolutely loved the first hour of this film, Neil Maskell was fantastic, and his character was too, he had a great mixture of psychotic and humour, backed by Michael Smiley and MyAnna Buring who too were brilliant, I cannot fault their acting at all, the dialogue too was good and the film up to the last 20 Min's kept me intrigued and entertained, but unfortunately it just fell apart, in the end I was left frustrated and so disappointed that they could build this movie up so well just to absolutely ruin it with a pathetic attempt of a shock/twist ending. I'm sorry Ben Wheatley but you totally ruined this film, it could have been oh so brilliant but instead turned it into a large pile of manure. this movie deserved a brilliant ending but all it did is make me actually HATE the film. and for this, it turned a 9 out of 10 movie into a 1 out of 10.
Hunter Prey (2010)
This is how a story makes a film not the budget
I have just watched this film and I absolutely love it, this is no high budget high octane action flick but I does have a story line that keeps you wondering and guessing till the end, and more so, not due to huge twists but due to the writing and direction of the story, The film itself reminded me a lot of 'enemy mine' with a bit of 'pitch black' thrown in, the acting wasn't that bad actually, not saying they will win any Oscars but they held their own but what I was impressed with was Sandy Collora, their is big things ahead for this guy and I for one will be looking out for more stuff from him.
I also hear that the alien prequel's have been scrapped :(, let this guy loose on them I say.
Tetsuo: The Bullet Man (2009)
you probably have to be a fan to enjoy this.
I was recommended this movie from a friend as he loved it but I didn't I'm afraid, I can't really give a true review of this movie due to fact that I haven't seen any of the previous movies or any of tsukamoto's previous work, so I will not comment on the story itself but tell you the truth I watched it as I thought it was going to be an action flick with many body parts flying around but this wasn't the case and the camera work was very shaky and it was very difficult to know what was going on, If like me you have not seen any of tsukamoto's previous work don't waste your time, but if you really feel the need to watch it all I can suggest is watch the previous movies first to give you at least a certain incl-in of what is going on.
Cloverfield (2008)
over-rated garbage
Everyone has their own opinion so i will give mine and everyone i have spoke to about this film, in fact to find anyone who likes this film i had to come on this web-site. it got booed in my local cinema and rightfully so. i had a head-ache watching it, the amateur camera work was pointless and spoiled the film. there was no tension (what they tried to achieve with the amateur camera work) the main thing was that this film was totally BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I only watched it last night and i can honistly say that i cannot name any of the characters names. the acting was poor and the characters were boring. i'm not going to waste anymore time in telling you anymore about this film as its not worth my time its already wasted an hour and a half of my life, either listen to me or not i'm not bothered, some of may like it (dont understand how) but if i save anyone money by putting you off this garbage at least my hour and a half wasn't totally wasted.
B.T.K. Killer (2005)
how people get away with making films this bad is beyond belief
i cant put into words what i thought about this movie (if you can call it a movie). i had to waste more of my time to write this is hope that it will save other people time and money out of their valuable lives. its bad....REALLY BAD!!!! i ended up watching the last 45mins in visual forward and i don't know why. i'm not joking and would have preferred to have used that time looking at a pile of dog turds as this film ranks below this. in the end i did not really know what was going on after the first 40mins or so and by then i had enough of the terrible acting and boring and pointless storyline so then the old trusty visual forward on the remote came into play, just to check out the death scenes, but they were just about as bad as the acting if not worse. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, do not buy, rent, borrow, steal, OR EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME IN READING THE BACK. stay well away.
Feast (2005)
sheer entertainment
i don't usually give films 10 out of ten unless they do blow me away, but I'm giving this one it for its entertainment value. i loved it from beginning till end, don't expect a film that has a decent story or fantastic acting because it has neither but what it lacks in that department it more than makes up for in its gore and comedy value. i watched this film not expecting much as the picture of the monster looked very cheaply made and the last few films Wes craven has put his name on have been hit or miss but i thought i would give it a shot, and I'm so glad i did. if you love gory/comedy monster flicks trust me you will absolutely love this one.
