I had no idea what to expect going into this film. I knew the main actor's and director's impressive track records. So I didn't want to have super high expectations. It's a very sweet film and the characters including newcomers pull you in and you like them very quickly. They did a good job with character development. Some parts were a bit predictable and some surprised me. Some parts of the film are similar to other films but not entirely. That being said This film still has its own identity. I think this is a great movie most people will enjoy. A perfect family movie to watch. I was very impressed with this film and all the actors did an amazing job. I recommend it. Go out and see it!
This film should have been shelved and been an insurance loss. Test audiences were out taking a wizz? I don't understand. Did no one listen, did anyone watch it and have to sit through it?
My rookie year as a police officer, a young man around 21 years old, put his head on the railroad tracks and waited for a train to come by and end his life. It was our most horrific site. We were only able to identify him because of his wallet in his headless corpse pocket with his ID. I was given the order to give his next of kin notice, the bad news. I was terrified, I was very green. I knocked on the door and the young departed man's Mother answered the door. She was hooked up to a couple machines oxygen and IVs. Her health was not good. She knew right away that something it happened to her son. I did my very best as a rookie to let her know the bad news and hoping she wouldn't collapse and have to call an ambulance. It was so hard to manage. I had to stay with her for an hour and 38 minutes until her friends and family arrive to comfort her and go to the hospital.
That was the most gruesome site I had seen and one of the longest hour 38 minutes of my life up That was up until the time I saw A Good Day To Die Hard. I would gladly relive that day as a rookie cop than watch this movie again start to finish.
This just makes you realize how short life can be spend it with the ones you love get help if you need it and whatever you do, don't waste an hour and 38 minutes of your life watching this movie. This movie is terrible. This makes die hard four look like a masterpiece.
I don't know how the rating is as high as it is.
