Hrithik was superb and also Saif was above average, But couldn't enjoy this movie as it is a copy paste of Vikram Vedha Tamil movie. Knowing the entire story doesn't help me engage on a movie. Though we always say don't compare, but some how our mind always compare it with the original and I can say even though Hrithik has done a terrific job but Vijay Sethupathi was something special in the original movie which no one can outshine and replace. When Bollywood will learn and stop making remake that only god knows. I am giving three stars to this movie only because of Hrithik's terrific try to take his character near to what Sethupathi did in Original Vikram Vedha.
I want to thank one of my friends who recommended me to watch this movie. I want to say to everyone give this movie a chance and stick to it, you won't regret it. This movie has some beautiful conversations, that are going to stay with you forever. The film starts with Brooke missing the last train to Boston from Newyork city, also lost her mobile and her purse, so she doesn't have any money to take a taxi or any other ride to go home. Nick who is supposed to be auditioning for one of his favorite bands surprisingly practices at the same railway station because he has no place to stay, then it all starts with how Nick helped Brook and how they have nice conversations over the night through each they were able to understand the problems, joy, and challenges of their life and how they can deal with those. Chris Evans as Nick was charming and he plays his part with ease, but I simply loved Alice Eve as Brook, she was loveable and her concern and confusion about her relationship with her husband and his chemistry with Nick was great. The cinematography was top-notch, Winter night in New York was shown beautifully and some of the camera work was mind-blowing. I can watch this movie again and again for those conversations and the chemistry between Nick and Brook.
Wonderful film, I will recommend every one to watch this film. It's a movie about relationship, family and what is right for children. It is story about a Gifted child Mary and his uncle Frank. Mary is academically gifted, she can do mathematics at a college/adult level. She lives with her uncle (Chris Evans), because her mother died and her father has never been in the picture. She starts the first grade and of course finds it tedious because she's far beyond that level. Her grandmother comes to take her to live with her in Boston where she can be put in a prestigious school and be surrounded by tutors. Mary's uncle doesn't want that because her mother said she wanted Mary to be a normal kid and enjoy life and not be constantly taught at all her life. But Mary's grandmother isn't about to give up.... they end up going to court over the matter and fighting for custody. The film features excellent performances by every member of the cast. It also has great writing. The writing brings out the films heart, it shows the love and sense of family that Mary and her uncle have.
