The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live: The Last Time (2024)
I'm disappointed a bit kinda so rushed
Wait a minute, instead of dealing with those time-consuming and annoying makeshift DIY grenades one by one with turned General, why didn't they use military resources of produced C4? Wasn't there CRM's homemade C4 or Claymore mines? I'm pretty sure they had those, right? I mean, if he could fly a helicopter, why not load it with missiles to a Little Bird for bombing? And surviving that corrosive gas and grenade explosion with just a tent and water and normal gears? Remember those herders who are surfing died from the gas before? Their eyes and skin were severely damaged, right? Even if we overlook these plot holes, the final plan they've been passionately discussing, especially characters like Anne and Thorne / General with their unique personalities and convincing acting, ended up being just Anne's rehearsed lines? Wasn't it too easy and simple? I wish Rick had struggled more before making a decision
and I wanted some humor in the elevator scene. It's like they abruptly ended the grand secret final operation that had been built up to that point, with General being assassinated by a sword. It's unbelievable.
Keeping Negan alive and then killing Thorne feels a bit off to me. And Thorne the Latin girl dying in the same way, being stabbed by Michonne and then saying, 'I hope you guys are right. I was totally wrong.' giving her gas mask away and been eaten by zombie and also suffered gas to died alone? That's extremely painful! In a way, I respect her. Anyone who rebels even slightly against Rick's family ideals dies. Yeah, it's survival of the fittest, as the title suggests. This is the Freedom. It feels like a typical American movie, too cliché and a bit disappointing. In the end, both Rick's and Thorn or General's justice seem warped, don't they? Overall, the ending felt so rushed. The scene where they finally reunite the truly grown-up children was good one, but only the children were shown, and it focused more on Rick's abandonment at first than on Michonne. And It was too short and could have been more touching. His daughter, though, surprisingly she had grown so fast that makes me feel time flies...
So, did they fast forward a bit too much to the extinction of all humanity? They have unlimited resources in their utopia now, accepting psychopaths and feral humans as they please or not. If your family turns into zombies, hide them in the barn or basement until use them for mad scientist of experiments from Omaha or just wait it for science advances. They might be saved or not. At least until those zombies escape and it becomes a repeat of endless zombie apocalypse era.
I can't wait for Daryl's continuation! Bring him back to France! Why not to stay in the France! He's definitely continuing on a solo wandering trip! Oh, I see the next season now. Daryl returns with souvenirs for the Rick family, and now they all go on a raid to France! Interfering in the name of justice, just like some evil army! The Rick family is truly the strongest in the universe and deserves to be loved under the so many dead one. I hope they live longer.
Halo: Visegrad (2024)
This episode is for who every time in war zone and never gets rest
Several foreshadows are revealed, but it's more like a breather, isn't it? This episode isn't centered around Spartan or soldier action, nor is it focused on Master Chief.
It might feel like the story is unnecessarily long and overly explanatory, extending the episode. The action itself is minimal, mostly revolving around events near Sorren's wife in the asteroid belt, so those expecting Master Chief to don his armor and have SF action may be disappointed. Therefore, opinions on this episode may vary.
For me, too, I'm primarily looking for a war movie in the Halo series, so I'm eager for intense combat scenes. However, as a drama series, it's interesting to step back from the continuous combat scenes we've already experienced in the game and delve into storytelling.
For example, even in a nearly three-hour-long grim and intense war movie, I wouldn't deny the scene where soldiers take a break on-site and let loose. It can be quite entertaining. (Although, even off-duty, Master Chief is always worried about war, so if he's recommended the best ramen on-site, he'd still talk about the Covenant. It's honestly a bit worrying mentally!)
Master Chief intuitively argues that Reach is already too late, but the higher-ups don't listen, leading to him becoming somewhat reckless. The elevator scene was funny! This episode, where they're just waiting for the secretive invasion of the Covenant on Reach, could indeed be frustrating. However, I believe there are likely adult constraints and other considerations as it's a drama, so they probably can't always show combat live scenes like on YouTube short films.
Well, in this episode, various side casts' backstories and foreshadows likely to lead to the next are being collected, so I endured the low rating and rated it average with expectations.
By the way, the captain who is trying to show unfamiliar leadership in place of Sorren, the boss of the organization arrested by the informant, is the same person who appears in the drama depicting the conflict between AI and humanity, "Humans"! I'm glad to see him in this role.
Independence Day: Resurgence (2016)
its so typical
Well i don't know why a lot of people reviews said its good movie but its so normal and after all those movie of fighting aliens, there are a lot of other good movies for now. I think Will smith is not appear in this film i think he made a good descision.
Firstable i heard the chinese money involved it happen so there are some of strange propaganda likes for the first scenes. I'm not saying i dislike chinese but i just felt unfit with this movie and there are no russians? And added one of machete guy from africa? 1996's i felt world wide scale and really hope humans together all. In this movie unlikely all of humanity together and they said it was already happend after 1996, 20 decades until 2nd attack happens. But its still looks like same with reality.
I admire there are a lot of actors from 1996. And graphics and sounds are ok. But story is all the problem is here im not impressed and playing new US president is female and its like not good one. Story and scripts are so typical. I felt i just watching another bad sequal of star ship troopers.
Tbh i watch it to finish i needed paused couple times...
Crimes of the Future (2022)
Sadly it's disappointed
It's just so dark and not for exciting way it's like crawling in mental illness of head trauma like. Guts and unclear theories behinds and total thoughts nothing so special. I decided to watch of famous actors and I saw about this movie's commercials there are a lot of people gave up to continue watch when released at theaters so I thought its so grotesque and interesting future story combined with some erotic scene but it's just boring at all. I realized why actually audiences gave up to continue watch.
I admire the some imagination there is another parallel universe of dark future and interesting bionic furniture and human mutations. But gore scene is not so special I used to watch like walking dead. And erotic is nothing special same as just showing autopsy like autopsy of flogs at science class. Just only Lea's nudity and it's not way to erotic feature just like doctor exam patients.
Protagonist are acting is great as same always but story is just not so intense and I fallen asleep after same as young boy in this movie from starts. So this movie is like that boys dreaming. And if this movie makes me dream another story is way more fun I think. I didn't get what message about this movie and boring in the ends.
Gunpowder Milkshake (2021)
Underrated movie
I'm delighted by the presence of strong and empowering female characters in this movie. When I first came across the reviews, I had reservations as I anticipated yet another predictable and lackluster film that relied solely on the nostalgia of assembling has-been stars. However, my experience was surprisingly enjoyable. Karen Gillian's portrayal was not only adorable and stunning, but she exuded a captivating coolness and comedic charm that has remained consistent since I first laid eyes on her in Doctor Who. Furthermore, Lena Headey, who was previously outstanding as Sarah Connor in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, delivered an incredible performance. Her use of lever action shotguns brought back fond memories of Terminator 2. And let's not forget the other leading ladies who were outstanding choices for their respective roles.
I couldn't help but notice that some people view this film as overly feminist, and consequently, inherently flawed. While it does possess certain feminist undertones, I believe it is eminently watchable, as it strikes the perfect balance between humor and high-octane action.
The movie particularly impressed me with its exhilarating action sequences, visceral displays of bloodshed, unexpected comedic moments, and the undeniable theme of parental love that resonated throughout.
Ojing-eo geim (2021)
I don't watch Korean tv shows but this one is good
There are a lot of movies like Cube Karma whatever something survival contents.
I mostly don't watch Korean entertainment but it is on Netflix so I was just starts watching and a lot of drama and elements that from other movies like CUBE and good scripts couldn't wait to watch next will what happens.
And casts that I mostly don't recognize so unique and good acting specially protagonist gambler dude and North Korean lady spy. Particularly that actor who gambler dude he changes so much and into that character than other characters he had played in other movies. I'm sure he is deserve to get an Oscar.
And also I felt realistic Korean life from normal or below people struggling to live their life. I'm impressed and inspired to how to live if you are one of them. Gambling, money, sex addiction, drugs, justice, politics, rich people and poor people, young people and elders etc there are so a lot of elements that's reach out to everyone no matter who you are and if you don't watch this genre I strongly recommend you watch it. After released this show I watched it non stop and after days this show is really becoming famous a lot of people talk about it no matter who you are from even for halloween cosplay costumes lol I'm just impressed.
How to Become a Cult Leader (2023)
Running around so fast and nothing remains
I just waisted for precious time by cult like fishing series of How to become XXX documentary.
I'm excited to watch about UFO cults and Asahara from Japan and also Last one of the cult that with AR15 who cause to assassinate Abe Former Prime Minister of Japan. But shown about nothing in particular and there is no interested information about it.
I also watched other one of this series about how to become Mob boss something but almost same as empty can with about bunch useless contents. And who the hell are they talking and explaining about something? I noticed a lot of cuts editing before they experts who call themselves trying to finish explanations with just one of sentence but cutting out last few seconds of finishing one sentences. What a roughly editing. In these days even YouTuber has good and polite editing and YouTube videos are free but more enjoyable and educational than this trash. Give me my money and time back!
I strongly recommend Don't waist your time even if you have a lot of time to spend nothing and don't know what to watch. I should rewatch other movies or tv shows about fictional cults instead there are a lot of entertaining and also educational fiction tv shows. I'm just disappointed.
P.s. If I need to compliment one thing that The Narrator is so good taste btw. But as I said wasted by empty contents. They should make about 1 hour at least for focus to everyone doesn't know much and curious about couple themes.
American Assassin (2017)
Happy to see obraien actions
I watched because I found on YouTube some sequence . Not so bad I think. It's predictable a bit but action scenes with Michael Keaton and Obraien are cool. Must watch if you like another spy action movie. Protagonists are not just men the foreign spy agent who is woman is so beautiful and she gave her true sacrifice in it. And first of tragic events are painful to watch happy to see he is overcome with through to do missions. But music is average and it's look like american propaganda like for the couple moments but I can understand that's why call this titled American Assassin is more like American Spy. Enjoyed Obraien with bear.
The Last of Us: Kin (2023)
i forgot about video games version
I just remember killing bunch of bandits or infecteds and made a lot of various grenades. I don't remember details of original storylines so i watched this tv series so far came back memories of original story and both protagonist's characters. I don't care of details follows original story or not. Feeling of Joel about PTSD is like wow. I had a nightmares of hunting by outlaws.
And I admired they added the rubber cup(for the first time watched at tv shows wow). One thing I realized sets of Joel his brothers safezone is like Alexandria of Walking Dead lol Even diner also is like. I also watched Station Eleven by the way this is also about apocalypse of pandemic and some parts the guy and girl survive together. Anyway i enjoyed it. I can't wait next week.
The Gray Man (2022)
action is good thats all
Action scene's incredible but this film wasted anade almas and also hendwick those beautiful actress. Very bad and childish Captain america is good roles of villain and kinda hilarious. Partially bobthortson and anadealmas are wasted can't compare for famous roles of them no time to die and Fargo tv series. And the girl of hostage she is also beautiful and talented expect after more famous. Gun fight car chase scenes are great intense and realistic(part of gi fights) but hilarious little a bit. Villans temper is like a child of cry cant believe they are special agents so little a bit comedic. Suicide squad after him so weak and childish not like a professional. Shoot everywhere wastes ammo and starts world war 3 kills everyone included civilians and cops so not realistic.
Kleo (2022)
do things so scary but has humorous
I can't stop watch next episodes. Im japanese so im not so understanding german old culture but i enjoyed a lot. She is an assassin to do kill for about revenge but so humorous and not so scared. Often gore a bit but those two main characters has best combinations. I think if you are female i bet more excited. But she used fugu toxin for an assassin is so grad for accurate Japanese but im warning do not try to fishing fugu and forbidden cooking by yourself without with expert license for cooking Fugu. Its really dangerous and need a specific licenses in japan. Often fishing and cooking by yourself without this lisense and unfortunately get self killed or poisoned entire family in japan. Its true.
Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)
almost agree with other bad reviews
I recognized james camerons incredibly works Alien movies features such as gunships , robotic armors, machines and cave textures And ujique marine life forms are also great work. But script is nothing and using bow like Predator movies Prey's protagonist they have 100% accurate and full of penetration. And why avatar risk theyr life to took human weapons such as automatic rifles after still keep using bows and arrows, spears primitive weapons. What happens with Sea Avatars group in the end? Where were they? Wakanda Forever is much much better than this. What they have purpose to fight each other? Just for his family? Or just for revenges? Or to take miracle medicines? Suddenly Asian humans hunts down whales in the middle of battle with for immortality medicine ? All scripts are going wrong its like made by randomized. And One of human called as monkeyboy or spiderboy(why call this? Another racism for Asian? Poor acting and naming)and i don't get it why he is so many times switching sides friendly or foe and boss villan is also blue so disappointed. And why so looong sequences? Tooo maany National Geographic like scenes or just meaning less and have no relation of main story scenes. Even action scenes are nothing new features its sooo normal. And zero gore scene(just a little couple seconds take by far far away. Is not counted)I watched mx4d 3d. I watched can't stay of complete end roll . I regret selected this already. I don't recommend it. Watch on normal screen or just wait for release on web streaming is enough. If you want to play with ocean life go to play HTC Vive Steam VR game called "TheBlu" you also can touch with them play with them and of course it is 3D. Its almost 6 yeas ago already released so Nothing new specific features. Can't believe other great reviews and took about 10 years to finish this. And this time why doesnt have Michelle Rodriguez? I thought she love whales and dolphins?
Except Shigourny. Weaver or Sam. W other characters hard to reconnized who is who. And play by S weaver character Kiri is a teenage kid with ages female voice its just little a bit odd? Yes of course she is not teenage. All of Faces made by cgi but forgot fix voice tones?
I felt asleep even in mx4d.
I hope no more Avaters. I can't believe they have plans to sequels. Nexttime no more Humanoid's characters. Just make one of only those Extraterrestrial marine ocean life's movie like an aquarium. I love those beautiful animals and nature. Human and Avater please keep do nonsenses civil wars and both sides are not survive. After Ocean lifes would be happy ever after and make one of sequel of them.
The First Slam Dunk (2022)
first time watched
I haven't watch this series just heard of it title and i don't understand specific rules so much but i enjoy it.
I felt Little bit longer but technical motion draws and expressions, story writing , characters, touch scene and also comically scenes are so great. Even if you never watched this series or comic books or you are young or elder im sure you will enjoy this movie.
About main role his background story is sad little a bit and depressed. But understandable situations and feelings.
No contains sexual scenes or brutal violence or grotesque scenes no need to worries for couples or family watching.
Right now in japan movie theater give you bonus paper card of coaster.
Lm japanese so sorry about bad english. I hope more good reviews coming.
Resident Evil: The Turn (2022)
its OK
Why so serious everyone? I used to play a lot RE and i love the original story. This series so far so good. It's okay. Specifically this episode about his teenage daughter turn to one of them.
