Nice review by Tom Barrister. Just finished reading Little Girl Blue, very interesting biography. This movie leaves out a lot of details, and glosses over a few major moments in Karen's life. Specifically, the extent to which she went to hide her anorexia (as someone said she was the most honest person except she would lie like a trooper about her anorexia), her solo album which was criticized by Richard among others and scrapped, and finally her disastrous marriage to a gold digging liar. As for lots being filmed then scrapped because of the family, Richard was an executive producer and guess he was trying to protect the family, especially his mother. I read somewhere the family was sorry they helped make the movie because they think it wasn't fair in parts. IMHO the movie does a good job overall portraying the success, talent (that voice!) and tragedy of KC. Like Tom Barrister said in his review, a voice like that comes along every few decades.
ps my favorite song is Superstar. THAT VOICE!

Went with low expectations what with all the talk of the movie bombing at the box office. Do not understand why folks are staying away from this flick. JC is an epic science-fi action flick with great imagination. The movie is well scripted, well acted, beautiful on the big screen, 3d that fits the movie well and not used at all to shock viewers. It will almost certainly be out of theatres soon, so go asap for the 3d and digital experience. Too bad this is the end of the line for this story. When I think about other movie franchises with really crappy movies that stay alive, like Star Wars, well let's just say it ain't fair.
Night Court is a classic 80's wacky comedy.
It's the kind of show you can just mindlessly watch.
In this particular episode the cast really gets to let their hair down.
Markie Post. What can one say? Markie played her role to the tee.
A very pretty lady, in this episode she gets to show off her incredible beauty.
At the end of the episode, the whole cast is in their Halloween costumes. The whole thing is very funny.
But Markie in that revealing witch outfit, WOW! A stunning beauty.
I've always liked Night Court, but over the years this is the episode I always remember.
It was run recently, fortunately caught it.
Only 3 words left to say: THANK YOU MARKIE!
