Everyone praised this TV Show, and I mean everyone. I watched many videos by many YouTubers praising this show and how brilliant it is, and they all said this is the best show of 2024.
I am highly disappointed as this TV show, The Gentlemen, is just an adaptation of The Godfather, the movie by Francis Ford Copolla, one of the most pretentious directors in Hollywood. I mean, please, watch Megalopolis. The ending of the first season is too obvious to miss for even the least experienced audience members.
Cast is good, and that is why I finished watching the show, but it is not worth your full attention.
A mediocre show, at best.

The cast is excellent, let me begin with that. Carrie Ann-Moss, Samuel L. Jackson and Martin Sheen with the rest of the cast give an amazing performance.
Editing and photography disturb you as the tension mounts. I do not understand how this movie did not get any Academy Awards. I think they did not even nominate the cast, I did not check.
However, the events of the last two years have shown and proven the world that "unthinkable" actually happens in the Middle East, every day, day in day out.
The mask has fallen and the Wizard of Oz has been revealed. All those considered, it it must have been shocking to watch this film back in 2010 for most audience members in the States.

I thought the first season was stupid, but this episode takes the cake somehow. I thought I could give a second chance to the show because I saw visual effects scenes of the show on Corridor Crew, and thought maybe the show would become somehow less stupid and less dumb, but no I was wrong.
Let me start with the time jumps. I am completely disinterested in the storyline because it does not make sense. Lightspeed, present of the past future concept does not make any sense.
My favourite stupidity, though, is reviving someone underwater with the carbon dioxide from your lungs. Yes, you read it right! Two characters are under water with no breathing gear, one of them passes out and the other gives carbon monoxide into that person via kissing (in the first aid fashion) and that person wakes up while the one giving carbon dioxide passes out.
I mean if you are a plant, carbon dioxide might help you, but if you are a human being, it will not!
