The Table (2023)
Neat little piece of horror
I love simple movies! Reminds me of when i started making short horror movies years ago. So yes it touched my heart! So congratulations director Rafael. Thank you for this neat little movie.
I was so into the sounds/ music of movie. It definitely pulled you in, and it perfectly hid the fact the movie was low budget. Thats the fun of editing. You may have a film struggle with dialogue, cast and settings. But all you need is right mood in sound and music. And this film uses it well.
My only criticism is i wanted a longer movie, too short. Which affected the needs of more dialogue and more characters development.
This was a fun project and was very pleased to see it. Old school horror. Congratulations Rafael and crew!
Journey to the End of the World (2024)
What a well made treasure with lot of heart and soul.
I had the honor of meeting the Director Giannis. He is such a gentleman. He shared his wonderful dark comedy/ horror movies with me. He is such a wonderful and talented gifted artist.
His 2024 short film "Journey to the end of the world" really touched my heart. What a wonderful treat, the beautiful movie was made with such heart and soul.
The movie is about a mother, looking for an answer about her daughter's missing letter to a mysterious scattered and scared author. The daughter was big fan of author's work. The author has locked herself away in her dark loney apartment, afraid the world would end.
Technically, this movie is filmed wonderful. The lighting ans setting is amazing. And It is very talently edited movie So much well edited you don't know the genre of the movie, which is such a cool concept. Is the movie horror, is the movie drama, Is it a dark comedy? It does not matter. The most definitely thing that matters is the wonderful character development. The Director has written for these two wonderful actresses. The 2 main actresses are amazing and beautiful.
Again, I want to congratulate and thank the Director for this amazing movie. I hope it wins a lot of awards. And I can't wait to see more from this Director. I would love to see a full length movie of this one day.

The Basement (2023)
A sad and scary story!
Poor Kristine is a sad hungry secret in the basement. Such a simple, but effective great story written and directed by the talented editor and sound man Rick Aydelott. A very good job on such a short but worthy production.
The uniqe lighting and gruff editing very similar to Tobe Hooper of "Texas chainsaw massacre" fame. You will be pulled into the sad, scary, haunting setting and story with gruesome effects.
To bad we did not get a full length movie with more details of Kristin and Bobby past.
Movie gets a" A-" for a great job in technical achievement. Great job Rick and cast and crew! I cant wait to see more of "front lawn productions."
Sleepwalker (2016)
Time to do a full length movie!
I being an independent filmmaker, I understand and enjoy the approach on the genre of horror.
A friend allows a kicked out friend to spend a couple nights as roommate is away. Just right there is a simple story line that should pull you in. And movie dose not disappoint.
Despite the movie's odd acting skills and low budget the film still pulls you in. Lighting was carefully planned and still looks genuinely frightening. Our main character's behavior wins over the audience.
A short film like this should get you excited about being an independent filmmaker, it definitely made me remember how it was in the beginning. All you need is a story, a camera and friends.
I rate this movie "B+"
Goes Without Saying (2022)
Wow!
An angered son has some words with his father.
I am so impressed with this little story.
Filmed so simple, so simple we have time to reflect on these characters and reflect whats in our personal lives. A lot of heart, soul and love went into making this little movie.
Technically a little shaky with sound design and dialogue. A bright setting is perfectly lit and clean outfits. I especially love the punk rock son snd the metrosexual dad, just makes it so modern.
I would have loved a full length movie. Lets celebrate this amazing director Daniel Moscovici's story, no doubt it was personal. I being a filmmaker lost my father too. So i know the pain and dedication it takes to make a movie and make it in life. Great job.
I gave it a "A-"
The Cheater (2020)
Clever and suspense-fully funny.
Vincent Romano is a talented writer and Director of this simple short story. A wife hires a P. I. To follow her husband who has been "cheating." Its a suspenseful comedy.
This movie crosses Alfred Hitchcock, William Castle and Mel Brooks and a congratulations to Vincent Romano and Crew for this crowing achievement.
I was very impressed with lightning of the night scenes. I would have love to have more dialogue from 3 actors and different style of music. Despite the film's low budget it does not fail to entertain and add a smile to face.
I gave this movie a B+
I can't wait to see more feature films from Vincent Romano! (Maybe this movie in full length!)
Blind (2019)
There is worst movies than this!
The heart of the movie is the color schemes, visuals and visual effects. The story is very weak and scenes drag on and on! Cheers solute to slasher genre with the killer's mask resembling "Ken doll or Cupid!"
