Great police drama in a tv famine.
Canadian series with rookie police agent in her Surrey hometown.
Rookie good acting & captured my interest thru out.
Surprising find that engaged me completely from ep.1 thru the complete series.
Pretty much binged the series as so enjoyable.
Good acting & loved seeing my old Veronica Mars favourite ie. Enrico Colantoni in this series.
Terrific that each episode complete & engrossing.
Over arching theme re her father's own problem.
Hope to see Season 2 as a definite watch.
Recommend this series to others looking for well acted, produced police drama...

Discovered Bomb Girls late at night after an evening of poor viewing. Set in a Canadian munitions factory during WWII this series was such a great find! Meg Tilly is excellent & captivating as Lorna Corbett, the matron in charge of the bomb girls on the factory floor.
She leads a stellar cast who all bring us powerful drama as the women generally unite to build bombs to aid the war effort while most able bodied men are fighting the war, the women take on this factory work. The series was binge.worthy; totally absorbing with me liking all characters in this great ensemble cast.
Recommend you settle down & enjoy Bomb Girls.

For me, Funny Woman was a fabulous accidental find ...so needed a laugh tonight after a bleak day. Thankfully Funny Woman gave the laughs I needed...Gemma Arterton is mesmerising on screen & perfect as comical Sophie Straw. Loving this show & need more...such a great find! Hope there's a series 2, 3, 4 etc...thanks for great television, such a rarity today...
Sophie Straw aka is Barbara Parker from Blackpool; Funny Woman is set in the swinging 60's & Barbara is off to London to make a better life for herself. This she does with gusto & great humour...love the music too! Great watch tv that is essential viewing...
