I was pleasantly surprised by the film, it grabs you from the beginning with the story and it's exciting until the end. Allison Williams is super pretty but she's also really scary... creepy? There is something about her that gives me goosebumps, at least since Get out. Megan's super effective murders remain def in memory. M3GAN is popular due to a mix of clever storytelling, cultural relevance, and savvy marketing. M3GAN tapped into our fascination (and fear) of AI and robotics by portraying an AI doll that goes rogue. This blend of horror and sci-fi was both entertaining and thought-provoking, making it resonate with modern audiences curious about technology's potential dangers. The film balanced horror with dark humor, giving audiences a fresh experience. This mix helped appeal to a broader audience, including those who might not usually watch pure horror movies. The film's marketing team leaned into meme culture, especially with the viral dancing scenes of M3GAN that were shared widely on TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram. These moments helped the movie reach audiences even before it was released, building anticipation. M3GAN explores issues around AI, technology, and modern parenting, raising questions about relying on technology to care for children. These themes felt relevant and timely, engaging audiences on a deeper level. Critics and early audiences praised M3GAN for its originality and fun factor. Positive word of mouth contributed significantly, encouraging more people to check it out. Overall, M3GAN succeeded because it delivered an entertaining and timely story in a way that was accessible and appealing to a broad audience, while also sparking conversation about technology's role in our lives.
Hmm, who wrote that script ... ah true, director/lead jim
At least the horrible music score is not by him... and the actors are all quite attractive, bit like a hallmark movie

Wine and Food in every scene, thats provence !!!
Jez they all have French names, the writers didn't even bother how to bend this plot into something believable, it's just French. Thursday and Lady Felicia do a pretty good job though, the set is ok, most of the filming took place in studio, but they were actually in the Provence filming for some scenes and there isn't a single French actor in it, the main cast is actually just three people plus girlfriend and mum, in every scene there is wine or brandy being drunk and oysters being eaten *"Murder in Provence"* is a crime series set in the picturesque Provence region of France. It follows Judge Antoine Verlaque and his partner Marine Bonnet as they solve intricate murder cases. Combining gripping mysteries with stunning landscapes, the show blends crime-solving with the charm of French culture and scenery.
