No, there isn't a fully fleshed out plot. No, it is not solely stop-motion (stop with the silly gate-keeping!) but Mad God provides an uncomfortably beautiful look at a decaying world. Reading along with a synopsis can help those that need structure, but enjoying the strange world building and freakish characters is more than enough.
The dub doesn't do it justice. Unique story - more of a thriller than a horror, with some comedy thrown in. I won't spoil anything but the ending is satisfying and closed. No nonsense about leaving things hanging for a sequel or open for interpretation.
You can't please everyone. And it's even harder to please die-hard Christie fans.
A visually pleasing and well paced adaption with likeable characters. A lot of good jokes thrown in too which was refreshing. Poulter and Boynton were a pleasure to watch.
