Back Up, Please is a very gripping short film. The pacing is great - the tension constantly building. The acting was very strong and believable. The individual stress everyone experienced was wonderfully portrayed. The director has a good eye for detail and obviously knows how to lead his cast and crew toward perfection. I love the lighting in Back up, Please - the time of day that was chosen to shoot this film. Extremely professional camera work and editing. A film that makes you think because most of us can relate to similar situations...and here is the disturbing reality as to how far it can really come. Incredible piece of work!
I love the concept of Trailer: The Movie...it's redundant in such a clever way. At first you think "God, this is overboard" but soon you realize that A LOT of movies are like that. The mix and amount of cliches stuffed into this short is amazing and hilarious! I chuckled all the way through at the sad reality and yet how comical it really is. On a technical note, the skill behind this film is obvious. Camera work, some delicate special effects, acting (considering the concept!)...all extremely well done. Overall, high quality and entertaining. Watch out for the lady that keeps getting smacked back - that's just the best.
