Loved it! I have to admit from the title I was expecting some mindless comedy that was just "OK". It only took me 15min to realized that I was in for a rare treat. I thought this movie was beautiful, brilliant, dark, hilarious and touching. In my experience its rare to find a movie in the horror genre that could even come close to fitting in all of these categories.
Ken Boyd, an artistic and depressed man is recently released from the mental hospital, lives with his sarcastic Mother, who loves him but picks at him any chance she gets. Its seems that Ken wants to live his life as cocooned as possible until his path crosses with the chatty outgoing Amy, who tries to push him out of his cocooned depression.
Ariel Gade, who plays Amy was almost like a light cast on the darkness of the film. She was perfect for this part and one couldn't help smiling every time she came on screen. Then there is the sheriff, this guy was hilarious and play his character perfectly. Karen Black, Ken's Mother, played the perfect Mother, who loved her Son very much but has no expectations of her Son and makes it known she thinks he's a low life.
Add all these colourful characters together and add some Slasher to it and you come out with one the most brilliant horror films I have ever come across.
Definitely recommend this one to anyone and if you miss this one, you are missing out.

I was so sad and so disappointed with this one. This is one of those movies where you wait in anticipation for months and months and are filled with joy when you are finally able to watch it (yes, I love my horror films lol).
To start off my review I wanted to point out that this movie to me was very tame compared to many, many others I have seen. Sure, this movie would probably be way over the top to someone who doesn't watch these types of things but I'm guessing its mostly people like me who would actually see this movie and as I said before this movie was mighty tame for me.
I did like that there was a storyline. I think that maybe they could have done much more with the movie by focusing on the storyline if they were taking out the gore. If a movie doesn't succeed in achieving the one thing its advertising its going to do and that's provide gore and make the audience sick well then I think it failed in some sense.
I also wanted to add that I did see the cut version (2+ min cut out of the movie) so this may have something to do with the tameness of the movie. I did see a listing of what was deleted and it does sound pretty bad. I have a serious problem with censorship as most of us decent people who are mature adult are. If you're of age you should be able to make the choice for yourself of what you want to view. I always thought how lucky I am that I live in a world where there is freedom of speech, freedom of choice and just freedom overall . But I guess we really don't, do we.
Overall OK movie. Considering that I LOVED the first one and think of it as one of my top ten all time favourites I was extremely disappointed. I believe it was because of all of the hype (and I've been through this before) you think your going to watch something crazy and it turns out to be just like all the other movies with just a touch more nastiness.
I don't want to rag on the movie too much but that's what happens when you advertise the extremeness of a movie that doesn't quite fit the bill. As I said I enjoyed that it actually had a story and without writing about any spoilers I also enjoyed some of the things they added that connected to the first movie.

I had no clue what this movie was about when I started watching it. Based on the name and considering I read absolutely nothing about it I assumed it must be some sort of teeny bop slasher. To be honest I almost turned this off within the first 20min. I kept looking at my Fiancée unimpressed and asking him if this is what the whole movie was about.
For the most part this movie follows two 14 year old girls and their complicated lives of living as young teens. It shows the silly things teens care about, the stupid things they do and their obnoxious behaviour. As I said, I almost turned this off thinking it would turn into some sort of Jersey Shore episode.
After a while the storyline changed into a beautiful story about two little girls and their intense bond to each other. This is where I began to fall in love with the two main characters. Megan, has some serious problems in her life and you begin to understand why she does what she does. She's outgoing, pretty, has a great sense of humour and loves to party hardcore. Amy, shy, sweet and insecure idolizes Megan and has an intense bond with her. Both of these characters begin to have so much depth you begin to feel bonded with them.
The movie goes on and focuses on how teens nowadays use cameras to chat with boys. They meet random boys online to chat with and this is where their problems begin. Megan, who seems to be looking for a boy who wont treat her like a piece of meat meets a boy online (who says his camera broke so she cant see him) named "Josh". Josh is so sweet, says all the right things and sends her photos of a cute boy saying it's him. Megan is hooked.
I won't go on to tell the whole story but I do want to add that this movie disturbed me greatly. There are only two other movies I can think of that disturbed me like this and those are Baby Blues and The Girl Next Door. Maybe those two had more violence but this movie almost made me sick just like those two did.
This is an important subject, with teens and their insecurity problems and naivety it's too easy to lure them on the internet. Yes this movie packs a punch and is shocking and sick but if that's what people have to do to let parents know what's happening in the world today then more power to the director of this film.
