How is this anime series only rated 6.6/10? This series is Extremely underrated and I am unable to understand how it is not rated amongst the top 50 anime of this decade. It's currently my favorite series, and I know that's because I just saw it. But I know this series will remain in my top 5 for a long time, maybe even for life. I feel they combined it all perfectly, I found myself getting jealous when characters should have felt jealous. I got pulled in by the story, airships and sky pirates, it was a treat for the eye during moments. Battle scenes all though not intense were satisfying enough, they didn't really progress in fighting skill very much. I would have liked to have seen more development over time in reference to gaining skill (say over 50-100 episodes instead of 26) I'm still just amazed it only got a six point six out of 10. It should be 10! Anyone rating it lover than an 8 obviously didn't pay much attention or was expecting too much for it. I am currently praying for a sequel series with the same characters, idc what happens, I just want another elemental gelade adventure with the same lovable characters :] Recommend it to any anime fan that isn't a rating-happy moron ^~^

My mother knows I love anime, so she came home with a box set called Wolf's Rain that she picked up for only $15 (It said 15 dollars on the side). And I thought, 'this will suck, it's so cheap.'.... But I put on the first disc about a week later, about 10 hours later I realized it was around 11 in the morning... I'd watched almost all of the series! That was about a year and a half ago, I've only just gotten to reviewing this because something relating to it pops up (I was wikipedia-ing Bones studio this time for example) and this is my first ever review. Needless to say, this anime is now one of my favorites, I've seen it twice and I look forward to seeing it a few more times down the line. :]
