There is a place for "offensive" humor. South Park, Team America, Amazon Women on the Moon, anything featuring Sacha Baron Cohen - all have their merits in spite of being completely tasteless. Movie 43 has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. It isn't even funny, unless you're stuck at the mental age where anything dealing with poop and/or penises is hilarious.
I cannot begin to fathom how or why this abomination was made. Given the writers and the cast, it should have at least been watchable. Was there blackmail involved? Did the writers and cast think this was "edgy"? Did they have a bet that they could actually have the script written by lobotomized monkeys and still get people to see it? Thank goodness I watched it on Amazon and didn't pay for a theater ticket.
I'm used to having my intelligence insulted by Hollywood, but this is beyond the pale. No wonder the studios are going broke.

For some reason the Big Red Envelope company recommended this piece of tripe to us as something we would like. What a heap of moronic clichés. I won't even hint at the plot line or you would figure it out instantly like I did. I kept waiting for a twist or at least something original, but to no avail. The lead character, played by Jenna Mattison, is easily the most annoying women I've ever seen on screen. The sad thing is, she is supposed to be cute and endearing. And what's with the freakishly huge mouth and the constant smiling, even while telling the tragic story of her early childhood? As a fan of Mystery Science Theater I've sat through some awful pieces of cheese, but this one really got under my skin.
