This is another of a series of uninspired vignettes using mostly the same cast, where it appears to be theatre of the absurd.
Films like "The Royal Tenenbaums", "Moonrise Kingdom", "Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou", "Asteroid City", "I Heart Huckabees", and, to a better degree, "Little Miss Sunshine" and."The Grand Budapest Hotel".
All those movies and this one seem to focus on art for art's sake. How about a plot once in a while? Mostly ridiculous plots played in less energy than melting ice cream.
There seems to be an audience for this type of twaddle, and as long as there are idiots to watch the film they will continue making them.
