My opinion regarding the plot matches many others posted here; this is the Spanish version of Shutter Island. The plots already been done, so there's nothing new there. Where the questions are answered in Shutter Island they are not really resolved here. Don't expect to be thrilled with the ending.
The actors & actresses all do a great job. The performances are well performed & directed. I'm not familiar with any of them but was impressed with the decisions made by casting directors. The characters are believable, talented & well received.
The dialogue was well-written & never appeared forced. The conversations flowed with ease, quite realistic & precise, exactly the way normal & intelligent persons would speak. Also, no cheesy one liners or stupid humor thrown in serving no purpose.
The sets were well done. Visually stimulating, great costumes (as far as asylums go) and fantastic directing. I personally would have liked some more creative shots; close ups to add creepiness, long shots with crooked angles and a few more panoramic views to get a better mental visual of the grounds but the lack of these more creative types of cinematography didn't take away from the story, just a personal preference for longer psychological films.
The soundtrack was great! Did exactly what it's supposed to do & even had a song I looked up to buy later.
So overall score was a 7 of 10, based on the positive things stated above. Deducted 3 points because the story isn't new, the last twist is unnecessary & feels forced, some plot holes weren't wrapped up well and at the end I wasn't sure where the writers & directors wanted the audience to go. It wasn't thought provoking like some movies that leave unanswered questions...it seemed to be more the result of wanting to unnecessarily build up drama that was already there. Still, entertaining & worth a watch.

I don't know what the average viewer/reviewer on here wanted but I got more than I expected. Most TV shows today have the same themes/plot lines & the same tired humor & little quips repeated constantly with only a different title & some different actors. This show, I feel, has been refreshingly fun & quick witted for the most part.
I love the three main characters: Amy, Jodie Sarah. They are each unique & quirky as are the supporting characters. The situations they encounter on the day to day bring to light how much humor can be found in the mundane details of daily living if you have the right friends.
My only complaint is it's a half hour show with 15-20 minutes of commercials...Networks are ridiculous with the advertisements as we just mute them or leave the room anyway. It'd make more sense to advertise with product placement in the show & allow the viewers more time to enjoy the show.
I hope it's renewed for a second season & I hate network television btw & generally only watch non-commercial programming that I stream on Discovery, Netflix or Vudu.
