Let's call out the worst first, Megan Fox is 36 years old but looks like a 55 year old trying to look like 20 year old TikTok star. Completely unbelievable in the role and can't even pull off the task of being eye candy. More like the car wreck where you just have to avert your eyes at the last minute. The franchise was appealing to those of us that grew up in the 80's / 90's with the action movie genre, but this movie put the final nail in that coffin. This franchise was awesome because it focused on its true north, but this movie just tries to pander to everyone except for the franchise's core audience, This is like going to a fine steakhouse that you have been to three times before, only to get the equivalent of a Sizzler steak...it just makes you want to send it back,
Really glad this went limited series rather than one long movie...there is just too much content to squeeze even into a "Costner" length (ie 3 hour) film. Great job on the music. Yes, George Jones had a unique voice (I grew up in the 70's and 80's hearing his music), but even then he sounded like an old man, even when you listened to his early music. My wife and I knew almost every song in the series, although there were a few that we didn't know, and we both agree that Michael Shannon and Jessica Chastain actually sang the songs better than George and Tammy did, and you could feel the "youth" of the music in the beginning and how it matured as the series went along.
We have been fans of country music since we were children and grew up hearing the stories of George and Tammy. Have been to George's bar in Nashville and the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum, and we found this series to be engaging, validate many of the things we had heard in our youth, and brought up new aspects of their relationship we had never heard.
Great for a weekend binge watch when the weather is bad. Grab a bourbon (or four) and enjoy the music, the acting, and be thankful that our regular lives are not this tragic.

After the last two horrible episodes, I hope they fired the interns that were writing. This episode was a bit weak, but at least returned to the show that we all like. If there is ever a methodology on "how to watch Lucifer", like they did for Star Wars, the previous two episodes would be The Phantom Menace and could be completely discarded.
