Captain Miller (2024)
C's review on Captain Miller
Captain Miller's Review:
Verdict: Movies like these draw audiences to the theatre. Dhanush's acting, cinematography, background score, and storyline keep you engaged throughout the film. The set locations and action sequences are superb. However, the biggest flaw lies in the hand camera, which shakes a lot in a few scenes, making it disturbing to watch, causing discomfort to my eyes. Nevertheless, when a still camera is used, it elevates the entire experience, especially in IMAX. The star cast, role play, and depth of characters' performances are perfectly portrayed by the director. While editing, music, and choreography had their ups and downs, overall, the movie is worth watching this weekend.

Merry Christmas Review:
Verdict: The movie starts at a slow pace, but the climax delivers a killer ending. The art of beautifying a storyline to such an extent that you feel part of the whole experience is something viewers will surely enjoy in this classy movie. Vijay S, as usual, elevates the entire film with his acting and screen presence. Witness Katrina's best-ever role in this movie. The director's thought process and the movie's editing provide the audience with something to take away in every plot leading up to the climax. If you're looking for a good time, this movie is for you, but be prepared for its not-so-fast-paced nature - patience is key.
And yes the movie has same ending in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu so the rumours aren't true on different ending.
Guntur Kaaram (2024)
Waste of so much resources from making till watching
Guntur Kaaram - Why do big names always end up delivering such subpar movies? I don't even want to waste time discussing it - it's merely a mix and match of various films like 'Attarintiki Daredi,' 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo,' 'Mirchi,' etc... Despite all the nonsense around him, Mahesh Babu's screen presence remains amazing. The music, background score, and comedy keep you engaged; however, there's nothing else worthwhile. Skipping this movie is the best decision you can make this week; nevertheless, it serves as an excellent remedy for inducing sleep..

Animal (2023)
C's review - worth the watch
Verdict: "Worthu Varma Worthu"... This is how a movie should be made - a full-time entertainer. The first half is mind-blowing with amazing music/Bg score, first-class direction, and kick-ass performances. Starting with the director, who has yet again delivered a blockbuster after Arjun Reddy. The bg score elevates the movie, and Ranbir Kapoor's goosebumps-inducing acting makes the combo worth watching on the big screen. Despite a lack of a strong storyline and concept, the overall presentation and the makers' efforts made me enjoy the movie thoroughly. Flawless action, costume, make-up, and art direction, along with engaging dialogues, screenplay, and characters, contribute to elevating mass and heroism throughout.
King of Kotha (2023)
A Time-travelling gangster flick
King Of Kotha
Verdict: This movie shines brilliantly, but it feels like it should have been made 20 years ago. The star cast and characters give their best, but the plot and storyline feel stale. While there are moments of cinematographic and art direction excellence, they can't save the entire film. There are some engaging plots and a few impressive slow-motion sequences, although they occasionally go overboard. The music, background score, costumes, and makeup are visually and audibly pleasing. However, the dialogues and humor fall short, often resorting to clichés. On the bright side, the action and acting are superb, with the characters doing justice to their roles. If you find yourself with nothing else to do and crave a taste of average 1970s/80s gangster drama, give this movie a watch.
Jawan (2023)
Stop this stardom based movies and just do movies for the purpose of entertainment !
I agree it's a mass movie, but where is the essence? What on earth was with the overall presentation? Atlee, you already knew the impact of Bigil, and yet you wanted to have a father-son double acting duo and the same style? Come on, man, learn how to seize an opportunity! SRK does what he does best, he carries the whole movie with his charm and screen presence. Vijay Sethupathi, you are a beauty and a genius of an actor, you gave me goosebumps. Anirudh's music and background score elevated the entire plot; however, towards the end, all the highlights were overshadowed as the movie got dragged and dragged. Of course, the movie will break box office records with its collection, and why not when tickets are priced 2-3 times higher than normal? Filmmakers, learn to make good films and trust your audience; you can still make a movie at a regular price. If you're not an SRK fan, this movie isn't worth your time and money.
Gadar 2 (2023)
Worth making a second part and makers did justice to the ask
Gadar 2
Verdict: I must definitely credit the writers, as they pick up exactly where they left off decades ago. There's a seamless transition until the introduction of new characters, all the while preserving the essence! The movie doesn't take us back to the time when the leads of the first part were young; instead, it portrays how they've grown and aged. The music and background score leave an impact, although there are a few off-beats. The casting has done justice to their characters, and the dialogues and concept evoke patriotic sentiments. Some plots still manage to send shivers down the spine, just like they did decades ago. The direction, editing, and action are precise, while the humor keeps the audience engaged throughout the entire movie. After all these years, the makers have provided a delightful experience with Tara Singh and Gadar. It's definitely worth a watch.
Happy Movies.
Toby (2023)
Not very impressive with the overall movie however the acting of every single cast was very impressive
The makers' presentation falls slightly short of being impressive; however, the exceptional acting elevates the movie. The music and background score, unfortunately, lack the impact they intend to deliver. While the slow-paced clips and action sequences could have been shortened, focusing on increasing the overall pace of the movie might have resulted in a better output, especially considering the significant drop in quality during the second half. The film feels like a reminiscent of the lead's previous movie "GGVV." Although the message, dialogues, and content are well-executed, their delivery echoes too closely to the last film. The star-studded cast and well-rounded characters receive proper development and closure, which is commendable. Overall, the movie is worth a single watch, leaving the choice between theaters and OTT viewing up to the viewer's discretion.
Kahaani (2012)
A prefect example of how a suspense thriller should be made, very good story line and good direction and Vidya balan yet again proved an asset to Bollywood industry
Kahaani .. will surely be treat to each one of you, Vidya Balan adds another good movie to her kitty after giving consecutive successful movies to her directors and her career. This movie has nothing else other than pure suspense, Director has very well shown every viewers how it feels when the suspense is killed at the climax of the movie.
At any point of time you will not get bored as the story as it is very strong and each and every character has made their presence felt. There are no big stars in this movie but still perfectly acted and everyone has done justice to their roles.
There are no songs, no family (melo) drama, no unwanted fighting sequences and the strong story has been built to perfection.
Last but not the least Vidya has made her entry in 2012 with another good movie and so has been the journey of Bollywood movies this year.
Story line- Pregnant women - searching her missing husband - police - suspense - Kolkata - informants - climax .
My say- You want a combo of excellent story, good acting, unwanted breaks - watch Kahaani
Paan Singh Tomar (2012)
Paan Singh Tomar is truly a inspiration movie, though it show how a good man can be made so violent and aggressive by the change and greed society has to offer
A movie based on a true story and dedicated to the athletes who have dedicated their life to the country and does not get the respect they deserve and are ill-treated.
A very well made movie, with some good emotions and heart touching lines. The language (Hindi) is more authentic so makes it difficult to understand but that is the best part of the movie, the intensity Paan Singh Tomar (Ifran Khan) displays in the movie is a class of an act, no one could have done it better than him. He keeps the movie ticking all the way long till the last second in the movie. This movie has no drama and masala like other bollywood movies, just pure and clean story, directed to perfection. Every second in the movie you are eager to know what happens at climax .. but as its a true based movie the climax cant be a good drama flick. Still a nice ending to it is given. A movie that caters to all age and class of people
My say - A movie which must be watched
