First of all, i know this movie as "tears of a mother" and was very surprised too see it with a different title. Well, this movie centres around a family from the eastern part of Nigeria. It explores many majour themes like: polygamy, child labour, superstition, old African traditional beliefs of having more than a child as compulsory, poverty, women sleeping with rich men "to make it" in life. Actors like Zack orji, Eucharia anunobi ekwu, Steph nora okereke performed well and can be easily remembered. Most especially eucharia's portrayal of her character&the character's development but generally the script is weak&sometimes confusing in terms of timing. The audience cannot tell in how many year(s) the whole events in the movie unfold maybe because of the too many issues the story tries to treat but fails to do excellently because of the weak script. In all, the movie is not boring in anyway. And i'm only rating it averagely because of the believable portrayals of the afore mentioned actors and for the fact that the movie tries to treat important themes.
