A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019)
Sainthood
It's about a lifetime of work. It's about making choices. The definition of a saint is well known, and Fred Rogers should be your guidepost.
The Rookie: Fallout (2019)
Why why why???
Why is our hero dumb? , and the homeland agent soooooo dumb? Why are the criminals soooooo smart?? I know "because this episode JUMPED THE SHARK" !!!
I really like this series , but the am done. It is over. It's a dumb soap opera 😩😩😩
All You Ever Wished For (2018)
All The money in the world
Good production values, average actors, juvenile plot.
I wonder how do things like this get made???? Yes it was bad on so many levels. But it was not terrible. I doubt I could do better if given 'all the money in the world' , but back to my question, HOW DO THINGS LIKE THIS GET MADE?? Or more importantly why did I watch it, and why did I write a review. ??? I have to assume it is due to the 'Italian tax credit law No. 244 of December 24th 2007'
The Americans (2013)
Ok great show, need one more episode, set 20 years in the future
I do like this show, the characters are believable and never forgotten. The story plays out in its entirety......
Except I need one more episode, set ten or twenty years in the future... honestly I understand the new start , new world thing !!! But I need answers.
Hopefully this can happen in this world of ours.
The Coming War on China (2016)
Wonderful example of propaganda
Sure it is one sided , but it is a well done example of modern propaganda. Good production values. A template to be followed by others, with a nice montage. The best joke was the music for the closing credits.
It was crowd funded, which is nice. It listed all of the sponsors. I think my major criticism would be how it bounced around chronologically. Also the title is misleading. I assume this will be updated as the years pass. Still it is just an example of propaganda. I wonder what the next political administration will do to prompt an update to this story. This is my first user review, apologies if it does not address only the craft of film making, it is the fact that I don't see propaganda as film it is more of a 'current event topic'
