Chandni Chowk to China (2009)
HOW Awful CAN IT GET?
UTTERLY AMAZINGLY Awful. This movie can even make Akshay Kumar look bad! Why did they make this movie is the only question that comes to mind and remains throughout the movie, IF you actually finish watching the movie that is.
NON-FUNNY "comedy." Forced humor all throughout the movie. There was not one instance where I actually laughed.
NO STORY. There was was no head and leg to this story. It just seemed completely pointless all the way. The story was not well developed at all.
NO CHARACTERIZATION. None of the characters were well developed. From the very beginning, you fail to see the purpose of a character and their relation to the story.
FORCED ACTION. CC2C filmmakers assumed that this would sell the movie somehow. Sorry to disappoint you guys, but the movie needed a lot more than a random martial art's show!
AN AMATEUR PIECE OF WORK.
Raaz: The Mystery Continues (2009)
A True Indian Suspense Thriller after a long time!
I have personally failed to come across good Indian horror/thriller movies. But, Raaz seems to put in a good word for itself. It loses a point for Suman's role and acting. Otherwise, well worth watching. Firstly, it presents issues that our society REALLY faces. And secondly, it takes a look at the REAL evil and not just the regular outlook at good versus evil that we're used to seeing.
The movie starts off putting forth a lot of questions that were well answered as you watch the movie. The topics raised throughout the movie keep you guessing till the very end. I won't say more about the movie and ruin the suspense for you.
A good watch overall. Well recommended for the specific corrupt group of Indian population (the netas, and on and on). ;)
Heyy Babyy (2007)
A TOTAL RIPOFF OF 'Three Men And A Baby'
Please Sajid Khan, stick to what you do better (which is a tough question to answer). This movie started out with vulgar humor and continued throughout. Vulgarity that Sajid Khan is always full of. He tried to follow the typical 'masala film' guidelines. Thus, squeezing in an 'all-star cast' song and guest-appearances by the other left over actors in the film industry. But, this movie needed a lot more than just this masala and a xerox copy of a well known Hollywood movie.
Akshay Kumar was natural as usual and he brought some humor to the movie but that was forced as well. Maybe the next time around Sajid, you should put some real efforts into making a movie and stop PLAGIARIZING!!
