X-Men '97 (2024)
First season should had at lest 24 episodes to tell the same story
Don't get me wrong, I love X-Men, but this show is not a good example on how to direct a story.
I'm really not sure what the writers/director wanted to achieve by packing dozens of plot twists in 10 episodes. It doesn't add deepness to the characters, it kinda flattens them to a point you can only sense the writer's intentions being expressed into animated characters, rendering them lifeless.
How are you supposed to get emotionally attached to characters that change their views, emotions and relationships dynamics every 10 minutes of the show?? Is this a TikTok attention span like type of writing?
It wasn't a pleasant experience and really hard to follow sometimes with a little of "cringe factor" due to the writing/direction decisions.
Maybe I'm not in the target, even though I was a huge fan of x-men in my youth. I'm still watching the second season due to the nostalgia factor but please,

This show tries to build up credibility with a few some reports about banal everyday events, and then dump buckets of lies between the lines. It's sad that such a program exists.
If Tucker Carlson was a movie character, he would be Rosemary's Baby, all grown up with a suit.
Stalker (1979)
If your favorite movies is any of the Fast And Furious, please, don't even try to watch this
This is not a movie, it's an experience.
The pace is slow, the mystery is created by us in an environment created by this Russian genius that never ceases to surprise me.
The way the Stalker guides through the movie makes us feel part of this imaginary world where wishes are made true if you deeply believe in them.
This is not a movie to be seen countless times.
It can be tedious, surprising, heartbreaking, happy and confuse. It's all about the journey, the expectations, and the imagination.
I've seen countless movies, few made me feel nostalgic as the stalker did.
Tarkovsky paid a high price for Stalker, some say, Stalker took first his wife, and later his life. But the mind, the genius, shall live trough eternity in the room where wishes come true.

O Filme do Bruno Aleixo (2019)
It's not an easy laugh, It makes you think
It's not a movie for everyone. Bruno Aleixo humor is a satire to the Portuguese popular knowledge and way of being. The characters are stereotypes of different ages and behaviors like the "macho" Bussaco to the millennial Renato. The movie itself is more like a long episode, it has some great parts and others less interesting but it manages to entertain in a way which is not common at all in a comedy movie. Give it a try
