These are films, TV shows, and video games that were not listed on IMDb until I added them myself.  They are listed in the order that I added them.

Please note that just because I added a title to IMDb doesn't mean that I like it or that I've even seen it.  Rest assured, I am not a conspiracy theorist, a fundamentalist Christian, a Holocaust denier, a fan of sadistic pornography, or anything else represented in any of these titles.  I simply add titles to IMDb that I notice are missing from the database.

This is a list of feature films that contain no speech - that means not a single spoken word in the entire film; not even narration or singing. Silent films only count if they have no intertitles.

This list does not include short films.  If a film on here is listed as a short film, then a feature-length version is also available.

This is a list of feature films that were released in black-and-white after the 1960s, when black-and-white films were phased out. Some of these films may have color sequences and/or tinting, but all of them are mostly in monochrome.  This list does not include short films.  If a film is listed as a "short film" on here, then a feature-length version was also made.

Black-and-White Feature Films Released After the 1960s

This is a list of films that are frequently considered "disturbing" and would likely have a strong impact on the average viewer. These films are often mentioned in discussions of "the most disturbing" films ever made.  This is not necessarily a list of "the most violent" or "the most extreme" films, but the most DISTURBING.  One must understand that there is a very large difference between being disturbing and being merely disgusting.  Anyone can easily hold up a pile of feces to someone's face and make them disgusted, but to actually shock and disturb someone and get inside their head takes real effort and talent.  The films on this list are generally considered to have that effect on viewers.  Whether they are quality films or not - and how disturbing they are - is, of course, entirely up to the individual.

Please note that several films in the Alpha Blue Archives' "Sadistic Seventies" and "The Flesh Rippers" collections, Sadistic Whore (1980's Japanese film, unknown release date), Obduktio (Finnish film, unknown release date), several of William Hellfire's films, Crime (Japanese film, unknown release date), Snuff Army (Japanese film, unknown release date), various hentai films, several of the Cinéma Abattoir films, Los maníacos del martillo (Aquí en Vivo episode, 2010), Gang Rape (2010), and Snuff Films (French film, unknown release date) belong on this list, but are not listed on IMDb (and I haven't added them yet).

These films are not in any particular order.  Just because a film is on this list does not mean that I personally find it disturbing, or that I've even seen it.  It simply means that many people would consider it disturbing.
