This film is beautifully shot and produced on location in Vienna. Fascinating story of Alma Schindler who married the famous composer Gustav Mahler and then had an affair with painter Kokoschka then married the architect Gropius and finally married a playwright Werfel. What a colourful character and well played by the actress Sarah Wynter who looked right and even had an accent. The cast was all good except for Jonathan Pryce as Mahler who looked too ugly and old for Mahler.

This is one of the few movies you want to be longer. They don't make movies like this anymore. Makes you more interested in these famous people.
