Impressive feelings, ideas to think about/interpretations, starts imagination, new and powerful from visual point of view. That is why I like the movie! It worth seeing it, I saw it twice (once 3D and once 2D). 3D is impressive but also gets you tired. 2D lets you see more of the movie. But, I would not say it is the best movie I saw. It is something never done before that brings you to another world, make's you dream. It is like a roller-coaster drive. I find brilliant that it gives you a special mood and makes you meditate, even though the plot is not very original , surprising , etc. BUT the movie is not about that.... For who likes to dream, it is an excellent experience! I don't agree with the extreme opinions: "0" votes but neither with "best movie ever". Movies have different types and scopes and people are more or less flexible when receiving a movie. I found it very interesting to read the controversies in the reviews here. I found a truth in many of them. I feel I could go on writing... even though I might miss coherency.... so go see the movie! :)

Changes perspective, gets you out of routine mechanisms, makes you think and interpret! Brilliant! You don't waist time watching, it is not for entertainment purpose kind of movie. I put it on the classics movies, ones that you'll keep close to re-view it. The atmosphere and dark humor are spicing well this movie and of course the acting is strong. After I saw it I was "wow" and I had to tell my friends: I just saw an incredible movie : Fight Club! I mention that I have seen it about 1 year ago even if it's made in 1999. I did not know the subject before watching (I prefer that when I see a movie, in order to be surprised 100% if possible. A must see by anyone, no matter preferences in movie area. Cannot make detail analyse, criticism, or tell the subject : It has been a while since I saw the movie but I remember the strong feeling I had after seeing it! I have to see it again soon :). (I have it on DVD).

The movie presents in a very dynamic and unpredictable way the adventures of 2 swindles : a mentor and his disciple. They are playing with human naivety and feelings, a flavored subject that never dies, even the social habits and customs change over the years. The action is spiced up by the atmosphere of Romanian lifestyle in times of communism (early 70's). But the great value of the movie is given by the brilliant lines and the incredible acting of remarkable Romanian comedians such as: Dem Radulescu, Vasilica Tastaman, Sebastian Papaiani and the others in the casting list. Dem Radulescu is a reference in Romanian comedy act and this role fits him perfectly in this particular movie. My favorite scene is the one near Vasilica Tastaman. I recommend this movie and I cherish it because it always succeeds to make me laugh and forget my problems, no matter how often I see it. Enjoy it if you decided to watch it!
