As a lover of the genre of horror, psychological thrillers, slasher films, and the evil of Satanic lore I've waited about a lifetime for a horror film that would scare the hallelujah out of me! I actually had to hide my eyes a time or two. The sound effects and the special effects are cringeworthy. Every time you think you've got the direction figured out it spins down a different path.
The actors did their job. They terrified me.
This is horror at its finest.
I dare say that for many Holloweens to come this will be included in the annual lists that many of us keep to pay homage to the season that lovers of fear look forward to all year long.

So some pretty big hitters star wise in this movie. It started out a little slow but it moved along to make one use their brain.
I won't retell the story but bottom line is that we hate each other because of our difference in thought, class, politics, age and core belief system. When do we ever really reach out .... or will we? How big does the disaster have to get for us to give our value systems a real exploration? To help each other?
And the animals that we have systemically abused. Do you think they are so mindless that they cannot realize what goes on? Would they still reach out to us? Would they try to share potential lifesaving information?
Would we listen?
Suffice to say the rest of the world see what happens.
And lastly, what is important to a middle aged man or a 13 year old girl are usually just as important to them at any given time. Maybe not blow it off so quickly.
This movie is an eye opener.
