I'm surprised this game's current rating on Metacritic is only 85%. It certainly deserves to be at least closer to Must-play if not Must-play at all as I would've rated it.
While I enjoyed and platinumed Fallout 4 just like Outer worlds, the latter is a much better game for two reasons - a top notch storytelling and an enticingly addictive gameplay with outstanding visuals.
This game is technically not as vast as the clusters of galaxies Starfield boasts, but even with very few planets it offers, exploring them was by a mile more fun than Starfield which in my opinion was a complete mess of a desolate void with no story, whereas the Outer worlds is inhabited with great characters you care about.
I had originally bought the digital version on PS store, and even after getting the platinum trophy, I still considered buying the disc version to have it in my collection.
A sci-fi Masterpiece of a game!

This game is mesmerising up till the very last second and much better than it's predecessor. The level design and the super powers are highly enticing and insanely addictive to make you want to explore just every corner of the breathtakingly crafted world. Missions are lengthy and very well structured bringing the wonderfully written story to life.
Arkane easily became one of my favourite devs after this title.
An absolutely phenomenal game and for me the best in the series.
If you love this game, make sure to check Dishonored: Death of the outsider next which is a great addition to this one.

While this one has only 5 missions, they seemed at least significantly longer than the missions in the base game. To get a 100 completion for the platinum trophy, each mission took some 6 hours, considering I also wanted every single piece of loot.
In the Death of the Outsider since you play as Meagan (aka Billie Lurke), it makes sense that special powers-wise the devs this time took a more minimalistic approach, and even with that said, the 'displace' that allows you to teleport to another location, I loved much more than its analogy from Dishonored 2.
Also, they've added a new ability that makes looting so much more fun.
All in all, an outstanding addition to the series and sadly the one that ends it all.
Very much hoping they will remake all 3 games for the next gen.
