SO I was wondering why this has a low 5.9/10 rating on IMDB and come to find out it was made from a graphic novel... Snobs all over are giving it bad ratings as a result of it not being cast like they thought it should be and like it was in their head.

My take on it? I think the cast is perfect and the critics would see that if they paid attention. Someone complained the Dad doesn't seem like he would be a monster hunter but to me it seems like that's the point... The Dad is an every day average looking person who is SUPPOSED to blend in with society. Looking like the hulk and walking around with a assault rifle on his back might be overdoing it on the character in my opinion! 🤣🤣 He's a Dad and isn't supposed to LOOK like a monster hunter!

Ultimately I think it's the fact that a main character is gay mixed with the graphic novel readers tanking it's ratings and people are garbage for that! The show is AMAZING. I would also wager to guess these critics also didn't watch the whole season either.

I LOVE Dennis Quaid and was excited for this show but it's like they handed a laugh track button to a child and told them to press the button non stop! It's every 10 seconds the laugh track is playing!! A couple minutes in was all I could stand of that and just turned it off. I'm not picky about what I watch and i'm very eclectic but this was cringeworthy from the start and I just couldn't! Way to ruin what could have been a good show!!!

I have lived here all my life and have to say this had to be made by people in California who've never set foot in Oklahoma because they think we have black servants answering doors in maid outfits calling people "Miss" like we're in the old south or something! And the people in it are so over the top country/ hillbilly it's obnoxious!

I just have to say I watched a few minutes in and just couldn't keep going because of the horribleness of this all. Skip it and find another holiday movie!
