If a decade ago, someone said they are creating a negative lead role film, I could only imagine a low budget film which will be ignored as soon as it came.

Freddy is a different thing. Karthik Aryan known for his love, energetic roles picking up a social awkward villain role as lead is biggest change of his career.

I am sure so many people are bored like me seeing him repeating characters. Though his performance was good enough in new Love Aaj Kal 2020, It was over thrown by Sara Ali Khan mismatched performance and script making no sense. This one was perfect for him. Dhamaka was nice but this was much better for him.

I hope Karthik does more experimentation on films like these.

Movie is a clean and perfect thriller get downside only by rushed climax. Suraj is amazing. The amount of research done by debutant director is amazing.

Like Mahesh said, he will only work on commercial films now, it is very routine film with hardly any new story. The savior of the film was Samuthakarani and Vennela Kishore.
