This would be a good if it weren't for the many occasions where the bad guys aren't just smarter than the good guys, they're also more committed to what they believe in. It's reprehensible, really. If you're willing to go along with a terrorist in order to keep your family alive (like you could even begin to believe they'll keep their word!), yet ensure the murder of 100s - guess what? You're not the good guy either! There are several instances during this entire sequence where the "good guy" could've ended it all, but was to weak-minded to do so. It's a complete fail for me. Midway through the movie, I could not have cared less who lived or died.
Started watching this on Amazon, and my attention has been piqued from the very beginning. Never heard of Harlan Coban, but based on other reviews I'm inclined to explore some of his works. Anyway, I've only been through the first episode, but I can't wait to continue with the ones that follow. So glad this isn't bombarded with politically correct garbage and I find the storyline intriguing, entertaining and engrossing. I don't think you can go wrong as it also seems to be pretty clean (as far as language and sex are concerned). It's worth the watch. I hope I don't have to come back and change my rating.
