The Ark: Fortunate (2024)
A wonderful Conclusion to Season 2 of The Ark
I just had the pleasure of the watching the Finale of Season 2 of The Ark in which many story arcs are wrapped in a bow with a number of new elements available. I have been watching The Ark since the beginning and it has been a great growth and maturing of a Classic Sci-Fi Series.
I enjoyed the technology that the was incorporated in this episode and how all of the different character's are spotlighted in different ways.
I am looking forward to seeing how Dean Devlin and Jonathan Glassner will take The Ark into places and new stories for Season 3 and I planned to be along for the WHOLE Journey!
10/10.
The Ark: Cycle of Violence (2024)
Sci-Fi Drama At its Best!
Just had the distinct pleasure of watching Season 2 Episode 9 of The Ark in which the Fantastic Cliff-Hanger from Episode 8 comes to a Shocking Conclusion.
I felt and knew that I was watching First-Class Sci-Fi, having my Popcorn (In this case, Spicy Pringles) ready and get ready to find out What happen after the Eastern Federation Warship had appeared in Episode 8.
What would Captain Garnett do, How would the Eastern Federation Hunter onboard the Ark 1 react and mostly what would be the outcome for Kelly who had slipped into a Coma in Episode 8 and basically hanging on the edge of death.
So many things to look forward to in this episode and I ENCOURAGE to Watch it on either the SyFy App or Website or Electric Entertainment's App or Website!

The Ark: We Don't Kill Our Own (2024)
Things are Coming Together
Just watched Episode 8 of The Ark and I like how different elements are coming together. I would like to see more scientific approach to the Clones, I like the fact that they exist in The Ark Universe
I think it is interesting that there are many different elements together coming together and the Cohesion with tension that exist among the crew is interesting.
I particularly like the further background information on The Eastern Federation which I have personally wanted to know about what they did to cause the Earth to become Uninhabitable and what lengths they will go to try to recapture control of Earth's remaining Citizens.

Fame (1980)
A National Archives Film...Its That Important
As a Young Musician / Singer when this Film was released it was like an EXPLOSION Went Off in my Soul and being already enrolled at our local High School I wanted to DESPERATELY To Go the Mecca The School of Performing Arts in New York City and I KNOW Millions of Other Teenagers from The Arts wanted that SAME THING!
Its always difficult to find people of like mind, particularly in Music (Pre-Internet) and being able to Immerse Yourself in that kind of environment was what was SO Beautifully in this Film.
I love the depiction of Pre-Commercial New York City from the 1980's and you can REALLY Feel the City in this Film AND OF COURSE The Music, Dancers and Just plain JOY of The Film Makes its an AMERICAN TREASURE!

The Ark: Pretty Big Deal (2024)
The Story grows richer and thicker
Just watch Episode 6 and getting ready to watch it again because there are a LOT of moving parts and Storylines diverging.
I particularly enjoyed the Crews Away mission and how they got the chance incorporate many of the individual teams strengths and more of their backstories
Being a lover of character development and back story I am glad to see more of that particular element into The Show. This added a lot substance for future episodes and the interactions of crew. I am enjoying the potential alignment of a Certain Genius and Young Meta-human....
As I said I am going to re-watch to see what I may have missed.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (2022)
CYBERPUNK 2077 Brought To Life in Anime!
I watch Cyberpunk Edgerunners Every Few Months because its SO Emcompasses the World of Cyberpunk and Particularly Cyberpunk 2077.... The Heartache, the difficulty of becoming and staying as an Edgerunner is FANTASTICALLY Depicted Here.
The Anime is Perfect Quality... There are Scene where you can see with a Clarity of Diamond the Images are so clear and perfectly rendered (Such as the lift off an Orbital Air Moon Flight at the end of Episode Two)
The Music fits perfectly with the entire story as you progress through the series and there is now an Entire Cosplay Community Surrounding this TRIUMPH of Cyberpunk Anime.
For Gosh Sakes CD PROJEKT RED Gives Us Sequel!

Star Trek: The City on the Edge of Forever (1967)
The Greatest of the Star Trek Episodes
City at the Edge of Forever is Star Trek at its FINEST!
Just the way the episode is woven and the Serendipity that is in the episode leaves you watching, eagerly for the entire 60 Minutes (Commercials be Damn)
I have been watching "The Ark" TV Series by Dean Devlin and in Season 2 Episode 4 that episode kind of brought to mind the Heartache and Tragedy of City at The Edge of Forever.
This episode just beautifully illustrates the Immutability of Time and the Consequences when Mankind tries to change it. Another remarkable thing is that this from the FIRST Season of "Star Trek" and we got to enjoy Two More Seasons after this GREAT Beginning!
10 / 10.
The Ark: The Other You (2024)
Worthy of An Emmy... It was THAT GOOD!
I just had the Incredible Pleasure of Watching Episode 4 "The Other You" of The Ark and Wow, the Writers, Directors and Producers deserve an Award for the is episode.
It beautifully protrayed the hazards and possibilities involved traveling faster than light and what could wrong.
I love how they emphasized the human element of what can and how people will react and what heartaches can occur because.
The Episode beautifully (I Like that Word..lol) Segues with last week's episode and the continuing challenges and struggles that The Crew of Ark 1 are facing.
To Tell the truth, I don't know how they are not all gone Mad...lol But its good to see how they are working together and how the seeds of other Plot-lines are still coming along.

The Ark: Kill or Be Killed (2024)
Great Episode with Character Development and Story
I am enjoying and looking forward more and more to watching the The Ark on SyFy every Wednesday 10 EST 9 MST. This episode really was very polished with good character development of the Main Actors and getting to see them really come into their own roles nicely
Also, there was more intrigue with a very "Tingling" character that is nicely adding a nice Cyberpunk, Sci-fi feel to the show and of course with a touch of Hard Science for us Science Geeks
Just like the feel of how its all starting to come together with strong Character Writing, "Real" Situational Acting and the Plot is Thickening NICELY!
10/10 and Here's to the Future of THE ARK!
Dragon Age: Origins (2009)
Greatest Fantasy RPG EVER!
I have played this game including the Awakening Expansion and after Experiencing Dragon Age Origins I can say without a doubt, that it is the GREATEST Fanatasy RPG EVER!
The INCREDIBLE Musical Score by Inon Zur quite literraly takes you away from the Opening Stanza in the Intro. Its haunting and prepares you PERFECTLY for the tale that you are about to embark on
With Dragon Age Origins being in 3rd Person Fully rendered 3D world that and Full Voicing of all Main NPC and the incidental Npc's that you meet along the way it just creates the perfect enviroment to tell YOUR Characters story.
There are Eight Different Origin Background that you can choose between Human, Elven or Dwarf Backgrounds and you begin at those locations and progress with your based on that start.
The GREATEST and Bioware's Masterpiece!
Fired Up! (2009)
EXTREMELY Fired Up! Fills in for American Pie nicely
This movie was GREAT fun. As a guy who LOVES Women this was a dream come true and its great that the Male Co-stars are so much about getting with Girls and THAT'S It.
The premise is very funny in how its developed and its certainly funny all of the different happenings that occur at Cheer Camp. Everything flows nicely (Like all good films do) and the different funny moments makes sense considering that everyone is like early College age.
I had a bunch of laughs. A BUNCH Of Woop Woops going on and I have to HIGLY Recommend this to fans of American Pie and Road Trip.
A No-Brainer Winner and one that will get you ALL FIRED UP!
Fallout (2024)
Portrays the World of Fallout PERFECTLY
I am only currently at Episode 4 but I have to say that the wait was worth it. This PERFECTLY depicts the World of Fallout in all of horrible realism and grittiness.
The events that i have seen so far, while graphic, is what I have always imagined would happen in a Post-Nuclear apocalypse in the U. S. ...
Desperation, Depravity, spiced up with the world within the Vault-Tec Vault and the experiences of someone coming from that pristine environment to the endless horrors and hopelessness of the wastelands straight out of Fallout 1, 2, 3, New Vegas and Fallout 4.
I purchased 3 Months of Amazon Prime Ad-Free just for "Fallout" and I have to say, it was money WELL Spent.
Starship Troopers (1997)
Just Push Play. Science Fiction at its Best!
Based on the Immortal novel by Robert E. Heinlein, Starship Troopers beautifully brings this novel to life with all of the realism of a Society ruled by Veterans of the ongoing war against an alien species.
I love how it depicts the freedom that all Youth enjoy, that sense that you can do anything but with a grounding that things are just at a lull.
You have beautiful Co-star in Denise Richards and Dina Meyer who add that intrigue of romance that is found in every great War Movie.
What I most love about Starship Troopers is that sense of Wonder that comes from Spaceflight and the possibilities of travel to new places and how Mankind, Lord willing, will face them
10/10 Movies gives me chills everytime I watch and something to Cheer about!
Silo (2023)
Kinda Sortof The Book but a Cop Show
There are a LOT of elements in this Version of "Silo" that are not found in the Book Series and I believe take away from the Dystopian Feeling of the Silo Book Series.
There is TOO Much emphasis on Cop Show trope and jargon. The emphasis on the Judicial (Which plays a Very Small role in the books) are particularly troublesome because this more like "Law and Order" instead of "Fallout"
Particularly all of "F-Bombs" in this show are quite annoying and hardly of note in the books.
I seem to be experiencing this a lot in this Books to TV Shows where the Showrunners believe they are better writers or better at writing the plot than the ORIGINAL Writer and thus I only rate Silo
4/10.
Blade Runner: Black Lotus (2021)
Beautifully Captured the Cyberpunk of Blade Runner
I completed watching all 13 Episodes and I have to say from the Opening Song "Feel You Now" it beautifully the feeling and despair of life for an Android "Replicant" in a Cyberpunk World.
In the introduction and presentation of "Elle" the Protagonist it reminds me a lot of Detroit Becomin Human in which you gain an infinity for Androids as oppose when you root for the Blade Runner in the Blade Runner Movies.
Even though I only found One Episode in English language I didn't find it too distracting to listen to Japanese Language Version and read along with the English Subtitles.
I VERY Much Recommend this for Blade Runner and Cyberpunk fans in general.
Game of Thrones: The Laws of Gods and Men (2014)
Just INCREDIBLE!
Just had the pleasure of re-watching this episode 6 "The Laws of Gods and Men" and talk about Emmy-Award winning!
The way that whole drama is orchestrated behind the scenes by Lord Tywin lannister and his conniving daughter Queen Cersei is just incredible and the way that it all unfolds in the court trial is just Sad, Hillarious, Shocking and Wonderful at the Same time.
You can see all of the twists and turns of intrigues that have climaxed to one of the BEST Episodes of Game of Thrones bar none. Season Four as a Whole is the BEST Season of all Eight and I highly recommend watching the other episodes in it that surround this MASTERPIECE Episode!
Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire (2023)
Movie lacks depth and Story is Rushed
Just been watching this highly anticipated Rebel Moon and right from the beginning something was off. It reminds me of Star Wars episode 4 "A New Hope" but there is no character development what so ever nor any of the EPICNESS of George Lucas' "Star Wars"
The bad guys are like obvious Nazis that can't seem to shoot straight and the heroine is unhittable for some reason. Moreover you have no idea if this is a Sci-Fi Space Opera or something like Avatar because of the constant switching back and forth of movie genres.
The story seems VERY Rushed and there is no obvious build up to scenes, there is not provided understanding of the type of Universe this is and who the enemy that this Homeworld is fighting.
It reminds me also of Dune but there is no presentation of what these Religous looking people in the masks are about, why they are traveling with the Dreadnought or how do they fit into the whole context of the story.
Very disjointed and disappointing film from Zack Snyder and his writing team that I expect better from.
House of the Dragon: The Heirs of the Dragon (2022)
A Dressed Up "Soap Opera"
The whole feel of this episode and frankly this series is one of bloody Soap Opera. Aparently HBO decided to make this for the Girlies instead of Real Men who are interested in the Conflict and Military and logistical aspects of the Rulership of the Dragons.
Personally I am getting sick of the bent of Western shows to Female dominated and for the most part: 1. Weak Men 2. Portrayal of Men as Violent and "Bad". This is just another example of this trend and is also illustrated in "Supposed" Wheel of Time series on Amazon (Which is a Joke in an of itself)
I am going to try to thruge through a couple more episodes but I suspect a continuing down-hill trend.
Being an African-American myself, seeing Steve Toussaint portray as Lord Corlys Velaryon is ridiculous and African-American as Targaryeons Children in "Grey Wigs" just more absurdity. I was stunned when I saw that knowing the history of westeros and just cemented my opinion of this show as being ridiculous!
The Wheel of Time: A Taste of Solitude (2023)
The Inevitable Jumbled Episode 1 of The Wheel of Time
This is just a continuation of the Confused and Mostly Bad Season 1 of "Not" The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan but Rafe Judkins "Adulteration" of The Wheel of Time.
I will present this review without Spoilers and I will point how the whole series has been broken because of The Ill-Considered decisions of the Show Runners and Amazon Prime starting with Season 1
1. Divergence from Robert Jordan's Characterization of Nynaeve, Mat Cathun, Perrin.
Somehow Nynaeve is now a Super-Swordswoman (Not in the Books). Mat is not a Happy Go Lucky Gambler but some sort of Depressed degenerate and Perrin instead of being a Thoughtful, Patient, Gentle Soul is this Man out for Revenge.
With the presentation of just these divergences from Season 1 the Story has broken from the Coherent and Well-thought presentation by Robert Jordan to Angsty, Overly Dark Tale of ridiculous extremes.
Can't and won't watch anymore of this Season or any other because it will continue to go down hill to the inevitable crash at the bottom. Back to listening to more of the TRUE Wheel of Time books by Robert Jordan.
H.O.T.S. (1979)
Excellent and Light Hearted College Sex Comedy
This movie has a LOT of very funny moments and has decent acting in it considering it came from the late 1970's (So it does look a little dated but not so much)
There is a LOT of Hot T & Ass in this film and the way the competiton between the girls and what is going on with the film is well dome.
The Film has a light-hearted feeling to it and you won't find any really serious going's on that will distract from the enjoyment of it nor bringing down its mood
I have to say that I thoroughly enjoy my time with H. O. T. S. and gave it a 9/10 for creativity, funny moments and VERY Hot girls.
The End!
Milf (2010)
OUTRAGEOUSLY FUNNY College Sex Comedy
I have to say that I enjoyed the missteps and just plain silly sexepades (or attempts) by these Nerds.
Its funny the situtations they get into because generally in College if you play it cool you are going to get laid pretty much. (Not all the time but enough)
But the ways in which these guys blow it due to their ineptitude gives the movie the right tension and you look forward to how they are are going to overcome their inexperience and makes some decent moves on some girls.
The preconceived ideas that they have about hooking up with "MILFS" also adds some interesting spice to the film and once again The Assylum delivers a Winner!
Enterprise: Dear Doctor (2002)
A Bad Espousement of Evolution over Compassion
Just got down watching this episode and after it to the end have to bitterly say that this was nothing but a poor excuse to spout of some nonsence that Darwininsm and Selective Evolution should be win out Over Love and Compassion.
Very disappointing to see that even in this supposed "Enlightened" Society that is portrayed in Star Trek in the 22nd Century that some Doctor would want to push this as a reason withhold treatment.
This episode also talks about the precursor to the "Prime Directive" something that would not even be a consideration in relationship to the this treatment nor has ever been a limiting factor in any Star Trek episode as it relates to Medical Treatment.
Rubbish Nonsense! 4/10.
Enterprise: Silent Enemy (2002)
Thoroughly Enjoyed the Mystery
Just watched Silent Enemy for the first time (Tha I can recall) I watched Star Trek Enterprise when it was first released but of course didn't have the opportunity to review.
This was another very well done, sensible challenging episode for the Crew of the Enterprise which forced them to utilize their ability to overcome adversity with using the tools they had on hand.
There was much less Vulcan hating and a realization of the true perils of deep space exploration which I really appreciate because the fact is... Space travel is Dangerous and making assumptions about it can lead only to disaster.
10/10.
Star Trek: Picard: No Win Scenario (2023)
Thank Goodness for another Jonathan Frankes Episode
Now I know why these last 3 episodes have been 8is/10 and its because of the control of Jonathan Frankes bringing back some of that "Next Generation" magic.
I did feel like there was too much stand around and talking in what should have been an INCREDIBLY Tense situation. Also, some of the events that occured in this situation should have been much more Lethal and that feel was a short-coming with the writing. Either "Be Bold" or don't default to "Waving Away" consequences and keep the outcome within the realm of possibilities.
I was getting ready to drop the series after the Horrendous Season 2 but I am starting to enjoy Season 3.
Star Trek: Discovery (2017)
NOT Star Trek.. Just Plain Awful!
This was one of the most BOTCHED and Ridiculous Portrayal's of Star Fleet and Star Trek EVER. When I watched "Ok A new Star Trek Show" but after seeing the way that Star Fleet is portrayed and the Ridiculous lack of Military bearing and Science I could barely stomach it.
The "Captain" is a Joke and has no business being in the Center Chair. Her First Officer is LEAGUES More Qualify to be Captain than she is.
The ridiculous and blatant Girl Power agenda just real annoys me and again its like everything is slipshod with their scripts, writing, plots and Science.
Couldn't watch it past Episode 4 because it was just appaling!
1/10.
