Tarantino meets Scorsese meets Times Square.
Henry Hill, Miserlou, Fredo from the Godfather, and many more old school NYC film references.
Great shots in particular. Tracking and following track shots.
These filmmmakers are heading great places.
Synopsis: a young guy who works for a mafia Don gets himself tangled in the battle. They are moving their business from the old school places where they used to sell drugs to Times Square not everybody loves it though, and when things go down in the lower east side restaurant Jack's wife Frayde, we find the drama that drives the outcome.
Don't forget about Paul Thomas Andersonn as the soundtrack inspiration from boogie nights for most of the music in the movie and make sure to watch the final scene Tarantino to the max.

So good. This series (after seeing a few episodes) is updated for real life and modern times. Yes so powerful.
Reminds you that Spielberg is a sci-fi director. His greatest works... and these shows are fabulous too.
The comments from others I read seemed very political. Sorry to those of you who don't see the world we live in as it is.
