This is an amazing story, as dark and as gritty as anything I have seen on television. McConaughey and Harrelson give the performances of the year, and probably the decade. The love/hate relationship between the two main character, as well as the development of the two make you sincerely care about what happens to them. This isn't a show about knights in shining armor coming to the rescue of the damsel in distress. This story will show you the flaws of the characters as much as their strengths, perhaps even more. The plot is intricate, but linear enough to keep you on track and wanting more. This series is not for the faint of heart, but I would recommend this series to anyone looking for a genuinely good story. Easily the best ten hours I have spent in front of the television.
