House of the Dead (2003)
You have not seen bad, until you've seen this movie
I do not know what was more annoying: the continuous clips of the Resident Evil game, the seriously bad acting and fight choreography, or the total lack of realism in handling weapons. There is nowhere to start in describing the horror in this movie, and that is not a compliment, given that the Halloween episode of Lizzie McGuire induced more heart-thumping moments of horror than House of the Dead did. Aside from this horror flick being everything but scary, the acting I must say was horrible, everything from Liberty's fight scenes, to the zombies, to the discharging of the weapons was completely horrid. Especially annoying was the officer's role in the movie, she came out of nowhere, and presented no buy-able actions that would hint that she were an officer. It also seemed as if in injuries were non-lasting, given that the main Axe-swinger was a man with an impaled hand. This movie sucked so bad, that I cannot gather my thoughts to provide a coherent review. I do not recommend watching this movie at all, unless the only other choice you have is to die, which would probably be better anyways.
That's So Raven (2003)
Disappointment
With "That's So Raven," the Disney channel has failed another attempt to create a truly funny sitcom. The heart of the story (Raven's psychic visions) has proved to be a nuisance. The plots that unfold as a results of said visions are most times more ridiculous than funny. Adding to the sometimes absurd plots of the story, is the foolishness of Raven's actions. Her cuteness has since long gone since "The Cosby Show," and, although a talented actress, her performance of this show might hint otherwise. The only thing that might save this show is Chelsea's complete lack of common sense; which provokes her random and funny ideas for solving the day's problem, which Raven hardly ever takes into consideration, using instead her own ideas which never work anyway. The character of Chelsea is casted well, and in my opinion is the only thing that gives hope to this show. I believe Disney has failed in the creation of this show. Especially given the successes of most of the other sitcoms that have aired, and are current on air.
Kenan & Kel (1996)
This is funny
I cannot remember ever watching a show that has made me laugh so much. This show is extremely humorous. I saw a rerun the other day and I was still laughing. It is just fun to see someone acting so childish and unbelievably dumb. Kenan, who was the smart one out of the two, always came up with ostensibly practical schemes, which never worked out, mainly because Kel would mess it up. Note that Kel is usually always the one who got them in the mess in the first place. I would give this show a 5 out of 5. I believe that everyone would enjoy this show equally. This is not like other situation comedies, where it gets serious at times. This is strictly comedic. For once there is no need to satirize anything for a show to have people rolling on the floor laughing.
Space Cases (1996)
I miss this show!!!
The people at Nickelodeon, must have not known what they were doing when they removed this show from their lineup, had they no idea how many people actually found this show interesting. This was my favorite show. I remember watching SNICK at 8 PM every single Saturday. And I miss this show...although, corny at times, it never failed to delight me nor my sisters. And I must congratulate on the writers of the scripts, that kept me glued to the TV. I normally dislike Sci Fi, but this is a huge exception. I wish they would at least put on reruns. Well, hopefully, they will, since this show, and others like it, are highly missed, being that these new shows, aren't that great.
